Pada sektor pendidikan, Kota Banda Aceh memiliki dua universitas dengan peminat tertinggi dalam setiap tahunnya yaitu, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) dan Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry (UIN). Untuk memenuhi akan kebutuhan aktivitas yang beragam tersebut, hadirnya layanan transportasi online yang salah satunya berbasis roda empat yang sangat populer. Ride hailing menjadi salah satu pilihan mahasiswa USK dan UIN sebagai alternatif yang cukup mumpuni untuk memudahkan aktivitas perkuliahan mereka. Ride hailing merupakan sebuah model layanan transportasi yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk memesan kendaraan melalui aplikasi atau platform online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi perilaku atau keputusan, besarnya pengaruh masing-masing faktor dan pola dalam pemilihan moda ride hailing berbasis roda empat oleh mahasiswa. Data dapat diperoleh dengan melakukan survei kuesioner dengan media online berupa google form, data yang dihasilkan dari kuesioner diolah dengan analisis regresi logit biner dan pengolahan data dengan software SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciences). Dari hasil penelitian ini variabel – variabel yang mempengaruhi kesediaan pergantian moda secara positif adalah umur dan kepemilikan mobil dimana nilai koefesien (B) variabel X_2 bernilai 0,893 dan X_13 bernilai 0,685 yang berarti bahwa mahasiswa akan meningkatkan kesediaan peralihan moda. Sedangkan yang mempengaruhi pergantian moda secara negatif adalah uang saku dan bekerja sampingan yang dimana nilai koefisien (B) variabel X_6 bernilai -0,824 dan X_8 bernilai -0,675 yang berarti bahwa mahasiswa akan menurunkan kesediaan peralihan moda.

In the education sector, Banda Aceh City has two universities with the highest demand every year, namely, Syiah Kuala University (USK) and Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry University (UIN). To meet the needs of these diverse activities, the presence of online transportation services, one of which is based on four wheels, is very popular. Ride hailing is one of the choices of USK and UIN students as a qualified alternative to facilitate their lecture activities. Ride hailing is a transportation service model that allows users to order vehicles through an application or online platform. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence behavior or decisions, the magnitude of the influence of each factor and patterns in the selection of four-wheeled ride hailing modes by students. Data can be obtained by conducting a questionnaire survey with online media in the form of google form, the data generated from the questionnaire is processed with binary logit regression analysis and data processing with SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciences) software. From the results of this study, the variables that affect the willingness to change modes positively are age and car ownership where the coefficient value (B) of variable X_2 is 0.893 and X_13 is 0.685, which means that students will increase the willingness to switch modes. Meanwhile, what affects mode switching negatively is pocket money and side work where the coefficient value (B) of variable X_6 is -0.824 and X_8 is -0.675, which means that students will reduce the willingness to switch modes.
