Rinitis alergi adalah penyakit inflamasi yang dimediasi oleh IgE pada mukosa
hidung yang terjadi akibat sensitisasi alergen, dan menimbulkan gejala klinis
berupa hidung tersumbat, bersin-bersin, rasa gatal, dan keluarnya sekret yang
encer dari hidung. Uji cukit kulit merupakan pemeriksaan diagnostik utama yang
dapat mendeteksi antibodi IgE spesifik terhadap protein dan peptida alergen.
Angka kejadian rinitis alergi di Indonesia kini mencapai 1,5-12.4% dan
mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui karakteristik penderita rinitis alergi dengan hasil uji cukit kulit positif
yang berobat di Poliklinik THT-KL RSUDZA Banda Aceh pada bulan Januari
2019 sampai Maret 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian
deskriptif retrospektif dengan desain cross-sectional menggunakan data sekunder
berupa rekam medis pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini
menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 62 orang.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi penderita rinitis alergi dengan
hasil uji cukit kulit positif terbanyak pada kelompok usia 17-25 tahun (27,4%),
mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan (69,4%), dan berasal dari kota Banda Aceh
(56,5%). Kelompok pekerjaan terbanyak adalah pelajar/mahasiswa (41,9%),
tingkat pendidikan akhir terbanyak adalah SMA (43,5%), jenis alergen inhalan
terbanyak yaitu tungau debu rumah (24,2%), jenis alergen ingestan terbanyak
yaitu udang (26,3%), dan gejala klinis yang paling sering dikeluhkan adalah
bersin >5 kali (26,3%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa
karakteristik penderita rinitis alergi dengan hasil uji cukit kulit positif yang
berobat di Poliklinik THT-KL RSUDZA sesuai dengan hasil penelitian lain dan
literatur yang telah ada.

Allergic rhinitis is an inflammatory disease mediated by IgE in the nasal mucosa which occurs due to allergen sensitization, and causes clinical symptoms in the form of nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and watery discharge from the nose. The skin prick test is the main diagnostic examination that can detect specific IgE antibodies against allergenic proteins and peptides. The incidence of allergic rhinitis in Indonesia has now reached 1.5-12.4% and is increasing every year. This study aims to determine the characteristics of allergic rhinitis sufferers with positive skin prick test results who received treatment at the ENT-KL Polyclinic RSUDZA Banda Aceh from January 2019 to March 2020. The type of research used was a retrospective descriptive study with a cross-sectional design using secondary data in the form of patient medical record. The sampling technique in this research used the total sampling method with a total sample of 62 people. The results of this study showed that the distribution of allergic rhinitis sufferers with positive skin prick test results was mostly in the 17-25 year age group (27.4%), the majority were female (69.4%), and came from the city of Banda Aceh (56, 5%). The largest occupational group is students (41.9%), the highest level of final education is high school (43.5%), the most common type of inhalant allergen is house dust mites (24.2%), the most common type of inhalant allergen is shrimp (26 .3%), and the clinical symptom most frequently complained of was sneezing >5 times (26.3%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the characteristics of allergic rhinitis sufferers with positive skin prick test results who seek treatment at the ENT-KL RSUDZA Polyclinic are in accordance with the results of other research and existing literature.
