Media magic envelope adalah salah satu media pembelajaran berupa amplop yang berisi gambar-gambar, pertanyaan seputar materi pembelajaran. Media magic envelope memberikan kemudahan bagi guru dalam menyampaikan materi dengan lebih menarik dan lebih mudah dipahami, sehingga memicu peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) penerapan model kooperatif tipe example non example berbantuan media magic envelope pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VII di SMPN 2 Pasie Raja Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. (2) mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example berbantuan media magic envelope terhadap keaktifan belajar IPS siswa kelas VII di SMPN 2 Pasie Raja Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian desain pra-eksperimental dengan desain studi kasus one shot. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, adapun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 1 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data menggunakan presentasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana, dan hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, penerapan model kooperatif tipe example non example berbantuan media magic envelope terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS sudah dilakukan sesuai dengan sintak yang terdapat pada Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dilaksanakan dengan baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dengan presentase 80% berada dalam kategori Baik. Analisis regresi linier sederhana diperoleh keaktifan belajar siswa sebesar 85,7% dan 14,3% selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor luar seperti lingkungan. Hasil uji Hipotesis diperoleh thitung 12,495 lebih besar ttabel 2,056. Dengan demikian, maka penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example berbantuan media magic envelope berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII 1 SMPN 2 Pasie Raja Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example berbantuan media magic envelope efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPS.

Magic envelope media is a learning medium in the form of an envelope containing pictures and questions about the learning material. Magic envelope media makes it easier for teachers to convey material in a more interesting and easier to understand manner, thereby triggering increased student learning activity. This research aims to determine (1) the application of the example non example type cooperative model assisted by magic envelope media in class VII social studies subjects at SMPN 2 Pasie Raja, South Aceh Regency. (2) find out how much influence the application of the example non example cooperative learning model assisted by magic envelope media has on the social studies learning activity of class VII students at SMPN 2 Pasie Raja, South Aceh Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design research type with a one shot case study design. The population in this study was all class VII which consisted of 3 classes. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling technique, the sample used in this research was class VII 1 students, totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use presentations, simple linear regression analysis, and hypotheses. Based on the research results obtained, the application of the example non example type cooperative model assisted by magic envelope media to students' active learning in social studies subjects has been carried out in accordance with the syntax contained in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and has been implemented well. This is shown by the student activity observation sheet with a percentage of 80% in the Good category. Simple linear regression analysis showed that student learning activity was 85.7% and the remaining 14.3% was influenced by external factors such as the environment. Hypothesis test results obtained tcount 12.495 greater than ttable 2.056. Thus, the application of the example non example cooperative learning model assisted by magic envelope media has an effect on the learning activity of class VII 1 students at SMPN 2 Pasie Raja, South Aceh Regency. Therefore, the example non example cooperative learning model assisted by magic envelope media is effectively applied in social studies learning. Keywords: Non-Example, Magic Envelope, Active Learning
