ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Struktur Gerak Tari Kesume Gayo Di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini bagaimanakah struktur gerak tari Kesume Gayo di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk dapat mendeskripsikan struktur gerak tari Kesume Gayo di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah sanggar Pepilo Kabupaten Aceh Tengah sedangkan yang menjadi objek dari penelitian ini adalah struktur gerak tari Kesume Gayo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh dengan Teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan mereduksi data terlebih dahulu kemudian menyajikannya dalam bentuk uraian singkat dan akhirnya dilakukan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tari Kesume Gayo terbentuk dari elemen-elemen tubuh yang membentuk suatu unsur gerak dari yang terkecil hingga yang terbesar, sehingga terbentuklah menjadi sebuah struktur tari. Tari Kesume Gayo terdiri dari 7 unsur kepala, 10 unsur badan, 41 unsur tangan, dan 16 unsur kaki. Tari Kesume Gayo juga terbagi menjadi 4 gugus gerak, 13 kalimat gerak, 47 frase gerak dan 333 motif gerak. motif yang menjadi kesatuan sehingga terbentuk menjadi sebuah tari dalam Tari Kesume Gayo.

ABSTRACT This study is entitled "Structure Analysis of Kesume Gayo Dance Movement in Central Aceh District". The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the structure of the movement of the Kesume Gayo dance in Central Aceh District. The purpose of this study is to be able to describe the movement structure of the Kesume Gayo dance in Central Aceh District. The subject of this study was the Pepilo studio, Central Aceh district, while the object of this study was the movement structure of the Kesume Gayo dance. Data obtained by observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The analysis used is to reduce the data first then present it in the form of a brief description and finally verify the data. The results of the study show that the Kesume Gayo Dance is formed from body elements that form an element of motion from the smallest to the largest, so that a dance structure is formed. The Kesume Gayo dance consists of 7 elements of the head, 10 elements of the body, 41 elements of the hands and 16 elements of the feet. The Kesume Gayo dance is also divided into 4 motion clusters, 13 motion sentences, 47 motion phrases and 333 motion motifs. the motifs that become a unit so that they are formed into a dance in the Kesume Gayo Dance.
