Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) merupakan virus yang menginfeksi saluran pernapasan. Infeksi virus ini dikenal dengan Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Gejala yang dirasakan penderita COVID-19 tidak spesifik pada setiap orang. Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) dilakukan untuk mengendalikan penyebaran COVID-19. Pada 30 Desember 2022 lalu, Indonesia resmi mencabut PPKM di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran karakteristik pasien COVID-19 di RSUDZA Banda Aceh sebelum dan sesudah PPKM dicabut. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif retrospektif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Instalasi Rekam Medis RSUDZA Banda Aceh jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian yaitu 235 subjek sebelum PPKM dicabut dan 25 subjek sesudah PPKM dicabut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan usia terbanyak sebelum PPKM dicabut pada rentang 46-55 tahun (21,3%), mayoritas laki-laki (59,4%), jenis pekerjaan terbanyak yaitu wiraswasta (32,1%), karakteristik klinis yang paling umum dijumpai yaitu demam (38,7%), dan pasien lebih dominan tanpa komorbid (23,4%). Sesudah PPKM dicabut dijumpai usia terbanyak pada >60 tahun (36,0%), mayoritas laki-laki (60,0%), jenis pekerjaan terbanyak yaitu wiraswasta (36,0%), karakteristik klinis yang paling umum dijumpai yaitu demam dan sesak nafas (48,0%), dan lebih banyak dijumpai pasien dengan komorbid hipertensi (32,0%).

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a virus that infects the respiratory tract. This viral infection is known as Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The symptoms felt by people with COVID-19 are not specific to each person. The implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) is carried out to control the spread of COVID-19. On December 30, 2022, Indonesia officially revoked PPKM in all regions of Indonesia. This study aims to see a description of the characteristics of COVID-19 patients at RSUDZA Banda Aceh before and after PPKM was revoked. This type of research is descriptive retrospective with a cross sectional approach and the sampling technique is total sampling. This study was conducted at the Medical Record Installation of RSUDZA Banda Aceh, the number of samples that met the research criteria were 235 subjects before PPKM was revoked and 25 subjects after PPKM was revoked. The results showed that the most age before PPKM was revoked was in the range of 46-55 years (21.3%), the majority were male (59.4%), the most common type of work was self-employed (32.1%), the most common clinical characteristic was fever (38.7%), and patients were more dominant without comorbidities (23.4%). After PPKM was revoked, the highest age was >60 years (36.0%), the majority were male (60.0%), the most common type of work was self-employed (36.0%), the most common clinical characteristics were fever and shortness of breath (48.0%), and more patients were found with comorbid hypertension (32.0%).
