Kulit kusam dan menebal adalah salah satu masalah kulit yang sering terjadi akibat penumpukan sel-sel kulit mati yang menghambat terjadinya proses regenerasi kulit. Eksfoliasi merupakan proses pengangkatan sel kulit mati yang mempercepat pergantian sel kulit baru. Salah satu bahan alami yang dapat mengangkat sel kulit mati adalah ampas kopi Robusta yang memiliki tekstur butiran kasar seperti scrub. Minyak zaitun kaya akan vitamin E yang memberikan efek calm pada kulit dan mengurangi respon iritasi akibat gosokan butiran scrub. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan, menguji stabilitas dan efektivitas dari formulasi emulgel scrub ampas kopi Robusta dan minyak zaitun menggunakan skin analyzer. Konsentrasi ampas kopi Robusta yang digunakan dalam formulasi adalah F1 (2,5%), F2 (5%), F3 (7,5%). Hasil uji evaluasi organoleptis warna sediaan F0, F1, F2 dan F3 adalah putih tulang dan berbentuk semisolid, aroma sediaan F0 khas minyak zaitun dan F1, F2,F3 beraroma kopi, tekstur sediaan F0 lembut, F1 sedikit kasar, F2 agak kasar, F3 kasar. Hasil evaluasi uji pH, uji viskositas, uji daya sebar, uji daya lekat dan homogenitas sediaan F0, F1, F2 dan F3 telah memenuhi persyaratan mutu sediaan yang baik. Keempat sediaan memiliki tipe emulsi minyak dalam air yang tidak menimbulkan iritasi dan stabil selama penyimpanan. Formulasi sediaan yang paling disukai adalah F2. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan kadar air sediaan F0 (30,78%), F1 (32,27%), F2 (34,07%), F3 (35,13%), peningkatan elastisitas kulit F0 (17,26%), F1 (23,29%), F2 (28,69%), F3 (34,16%) dan penurunan pigmentasi F0 (11,49%), F1 (21,76%), F2 (25,19%), F3 (30,50%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sediaan emulgel scrub yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan kadar air, elastisitas kulit, mengurangi pigmentasi pada kulit dan efektivitas ini meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya konsentrasi ampas kopi Robusta yang dibuktikan dengan adanya perbedaan bermakna meliputi peningkatan kadar air (p-value≥0,05) yang tidak signifikan, elastisitas dan penurunan pigmentasi (p-value

Dull and thick skin is one of the skin problems that often occurs due to the accumulation of dead skin cells that hinder the skin regeneration process. Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells that accelerate the turnover of new skin cells. One of the natural ingredients that can remove dead skin cells is Robusta coffee grounds which has a rough grain texture like a scrub. Olive oil, rich in vitamin E, helps calm the skin and reduce the irritation response due to the rubbing of the scrub. This study aims to formulate, test the stability and effectiveness of the Robusta coffee grounds and olive oil scrub emulgel formulation using a skin analyzer. The concentration of Robusta coffee grounds used in the formulation are F1 (2.5%), F2 (5%), F3 (7.5%). The results of the organoleptical evaluation test of the color of the F0, F1, F2 and F3 preparations were bone white and semisolid, the aroma of the F0 preparation was typical of olive oil and F1, F2, F3 had a coffee aroma, the texture of the F0 preparation was soft, F1 was slightly rough, F2 was slightly rough, F3 was rough. The evaluation results of the pH test, viscosity test, spreadability test, adhesion test and homogeneity of preparations F0, F1, F2 and F3 have met the requirements of good quality preparations. The four preparations have an oil in water emulsion type that is non-irritating and stable during storage. The most preferred dosage formulation is F2. The results of the effectiveness test showed an increase in the moisture content of the preparation F0 (30.78%), F1 (32.27%), F2 (34.07%), F3 (35.13%), increased skin elasticity F0 (17.26%), F1 (23.29%), F2 (28.69%), F3 (34.16%) and decreased pigmentation on skin F0 (11.49%), F1 (21.76%), F2 (25.19%), F3 (30.50%).
