Indikasi yang menunjukkan adanya perkembangan dan pertumbuhan yang terjadi pada manusia salah satunya berat badan lahir. Neonatus dengan BBLR berisiko mengalami komplikasi, seperti gangguan pendengaran. Maka dari itu deteksi gangguan pendengaran harus dilakukan sedini mungkin, dengan melakukan pemeriksaan OAE (Otoacoustic Emission) skrining. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan berat badan lahir dengan hasil pemeriksaan OAE skrining pada neonatus di RSIA Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian ini berupa analisis observasional dengan rancangan retrospektif. Subjek penelitian diambil dari data sekunder yang berupa rekam medis neonatus yang dilakukan pemeriksaan OAE skrining tahun 2021-2022. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 302 subjek yang sesuai kriteria penelitian, menunjukkan bayi dengan BBLR pada hasil pemeriksaan OAE skrining yang hasil pemeriksaannya pass/pass berjumlah 36,1% bayi, sedangkan ditemukan hasil pemeriksaan OAE skrining terbanyak pada bayi dengan BBLR yaitu hasil refer/refer dengan jumlah 65,5% bayi. Bayi dengan BBL normal pada hasil pemeriksaan OAE skriningnya dengan hasil pemeriksaan yaitu pass/pass berjumlah 63,9% bayi, sedangkan hasil pemeriksaan OAE skrining yang hasilnya refer/refer didapati berjumlah 34,5% bayi. Berdasarkan uji statistik koefisien kontingensi C pada aplikasi SPSS didapatkan nilai C sebesar 0,277 dan nilai p value = 0,000 ≤ 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak maka hipotesis terbukti. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat korelasi atau hubungan yang signifikan antara berat badan lahir dengan hasil pemeriksaan OAE skrining pada neonatus di RSIA Banda Aceh.

One of the indications that shows the development and growth that occurs in humans is birth weight. Neonates with LBW are at risk of complications, such as hearing loss. Therefore, detection of hearing loss must be done as early as possible, by carrying out an OAE (Otoacoustic Emission) screening examination. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between birth weight and the results of OAE screening examinations in neonates at RSIA Banda Aceh. This research method is an observational analysis with a retrospective design. Research subjects were taken from secondary data in the form of medical records of neonates who underwent OAE screening examinations in 2021-2022. The results of the study obtained 302 subjects who met the research criteria, showing that 36.1% of babies were LBW in screening OAE screening examination results, whereas 36.1% of OAE screening examination results were found in babies with LBW, namely the results of refer/refer with the number 65.5% babies. Babies with normal BBL on the results of the OAE screening examination with the examination results namely pass/pass amounted to 63.9% of babies, while the results of the OAE screening examination which resulted in a refer/refer were found to be 34.5% of babies. Based on the statistical test of the contingency coefficient C in the SPSS application, the C value is 0.277 and the p value = 0.000 ≤ 0.05 so that H0 is rejected, the hypothesis is proven. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant correlation or relationship between birth weight and the results of OAE screening examinations in neonates at RSIA Banda Aceh.
