Mother characteristic are Age, Education, Income per Month, Occopation, and Complication is abnormal or unusual condition occurred during spontaneous delivery. The Purpose of the research is to know the overview of mother's Characteristic related to delivery Complication at Delivery Room of BPK-RSU Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda 2007. Research design is descriptive explorative with cross sectional study approach, non-probability sampling method, and purposive sampling technique. Number of sampling counted by using Slovin;s formula is 35 samples. Interview method was used for data collection that conducted on march, 9-12.2007. Collection phase were editing, coding, transferring, and tabulating. Data analysis was computerized with SPSS (Statistical Product Service Solution) program. The research conclusion : Mother characteristic : based on age which most frequently appear is age
20 - 30 where 19 cases (543 %), appeared, education : elementary school (SD)/
senior high School (SMP) are 25 cases (71,4 %), income por month : Under lDR
500.000 are 28 cases (80 %), occupation : Housewife 28 cases (80 %), most complication : early fetal membrane leaking 15 persons (42,9 %). Well informed of the early delivery complication signs for the pregnant woman from midwife or other health practitioners is the exprectation from the writer.
