Model pembelajaran sentra masak memberikan pengalaman sensorik motor yang bermakna bagi anak dengan melibatkan seluruh panca indera anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran sentra masak pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD Intan Payong Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ada 2 yaitu Direktur PAUD dan guru sentra masak. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa 1) penerapan model pembelajaran sentra masak menggunakan pendekatan BCCT yaitu pembelajaran melalui pendekatan sentra yang berfokus pada anak dan duduk secara melingkar dengan menggunakan empat jenis pijakan yaitu: pijakan lingkungan, pijakan sebelum main, pijakan main, pijakan setelah main; 2) pembelajaran sentra melatih kefokusan dan kesadaran penuh sehingga anak mampu melakukan langkah-langkah dalam mengolah makanan; 3) komunikasi efektif, komunikasi yang digunakan guru untuk menyampaikan informasi selama proses belajar mengajar, sehingga informasi yang disampaikan guru mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak; 4) pengalaman yang didapatkan anak di sentra masak menjadi bermakna karena melibatkan seluruh panca indera anak mulai dari indera pendengaran, indera penglihatan indera penciuman, indera peraba dan indera perasa.

The cooking center learning model provides meaningful sensory motor experiences for children by involving all of the child's five senses. This research aims to determine the application of the cooking center learning model to children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Intan Payong, Banda Aceh. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. There were 2 subjects in this research, namely the PAUD Director and the cooking center teacher. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it is known that 1) the implementation of the cooking center learning model used the BCCT approach, namely learning through a center approach that focuses on children and sitting in a circle using four types of step, namely: environmental step, before playing step, playing step, and after playing step; 2) central learning trains focus and full awareness so that children are able to carry out the steps in processing food; 3) effective communication, communication used by teachers to convey information during the teaching and learning process, so that the information conveyed by the teacher is easily understood by children; 4) the experience that children get at the cooking center is meaningful because it involves all of the child's five senses starting from the sense of hearing, the sense of sight, the sense of smell, the sense of touch and the sense of taste.
