Mahasiswa dalam memenuhi kewajiban dan mengikuti kegiatan di kampus tentu tidak terlepas dari kecemasan yang akan mereka alami dan tidak sedikit mahasiswa rentan mengalami kecemasan diakibatkan oleh perubahan lingkungan belajarnya pada saat keadaan tertentu. Sumber kecemasan pada mahasiswa dapat berasal dari faktor internal seperti kecemasan diri atau faktor eksternal seperti tekanan sosial dan akademik. . salah satu faktor yang memempengaruhi kecemasan ialah self-efficacy . Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 334 orang mahasiswa akhir di Universitas Syiah Kuala. Pengambilan sample dilakukan secara cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan instrumen dalam penelitian menggunakan Skala Self Efficacy yang di adaptasi dari Bandura (1977) dan skala DASS dari Lovinbond-Lovinbond (1995). Sebelum menguji korelasi data, dilakukan uji normalitas yang di uji menggunakan uji one sample kolmogrov smirnov. Hasil dari uji normalitas data menunjukan nilai sign.0.000 > 0.005, yang artinya bahwa nilai residual berdistribusi tidak normal. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik uji korelasi spearman’s rho dari spearman dengan bantuan Program SPSS 25 . Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kecemasan mahasiswa, dengan diperoleh nilai sig, 0.344 (p < 0,05). Dari penelitian ini juga di dapatkan hasil hubungan antara kedua variabel berkorelasi positif yaitu semakin tinggi self-efficacy mahasiswa semakin tinggi kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Dari penelitian ini juga di dapatkan hasil hubungan antara kedua variabel berkorelasi positif yaitu semakin tinggi self efficacy mahasiswa semakin tinggi kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini ada keterbatasan peneliti dalam penggunaan skala, dimana peneliti hanya menggunakan satu aspek dari skala Dass 42.

Students in fulfilling their obligations and participating in activities on campus are certainly not free from the anxiety they will experience and quite a few students are susceptible to experiencing anxiety due to changes in their learning environment during certain circumstances. The source of anxiety in students can come from internal factors such as self-anxiety or external factors such as social and academic pressure. . One of the factors that influences anxiety is self-efficacy. Participants in this research were 334 final students at Syiah Kuala University. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling. This research uses a quantitative approach and research instruments using the Self Efficacy Scale adapted from Bandura (1977) and the DASS scale from Lovinbond-Lovinbond (1995). Before testing data correlation, a normality test was carried out using the one sample Kolmogrov Smirnov test. The results of the data normality test show a sign value of 0.000 > 0.005, which means that the residual value is not normally distributed. Data analysis used in the research is the Spearman's rho correlation test technique from Spearman with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The research results showed that there was a relationship between self-efficacy and student anxiety, with a sig value of 0.344 (p < 0.05). From this research, the results of the relationship between the two variables were positively correlated, namely that the higher the student's self-efficacy, the higher the student's anxiety.
