Partai Aceh merupakan Partai lokal yang didukung oleh organisasi mantan GAM seperti KPA dan Majelis GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka) yang dibentuk pasca-MoU Helsinki. Partai Aceh menggambarkan bahwa mantan GAM begitu percaya bahwa kekuatan mereka di bidang politik tidak bisa dibendung oleh kelompok lain. Setelah terjun kedunia politik dari tahun 2009 Partai Aceh mengalami penurunan suara pada tahun 2019 hal ini membuat peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian tentang Preferensi pemilih terhadap Partai Aceh. Preferensi pemilih sendiri merupakan pilihan tindakan yang berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang diyakini untuk memberikan respon politik yang ada pada diri seseorang. Tindakan politik yang diwujudkan dari nilai-nilai politik yang diyakini seseorang ini menjadi faktor yang sangat menentukan untuk mengarahkan agar merespons situasi (politik) yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulkan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dan Microsoft Excel dengan dilakukan uji Validitas, Reabilitas, dan uji T dilakukan untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis (H1) dalam penelitian ini diterima atau dalam kata lain pemilih Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya memiliki ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap Partai Aceh. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel sosiologis dan psikologis berpengaruh terhadap rasionalitas pemilih. Hasil uji validitas dan reabilitas terhadap kuesioner menunjukkan hasil valid. Hasil perhitungan uji reabilitas dengan metode Cronbach’ alpha yang diteliti pada pendekatan sosiologis adalah 0.928, pendekatan psikologis adalah 0.854, dan pendekatan rasionalitas adalah 0.893. Berdasarkan analisis data uji t penelitian ini maka diperoleh nilai uji t variabel X1 sebesar 0,000 dan variabel X2 sebesar 0,000 nilai ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti berpengaruh. Perbandingan nilai t hitung variabel X1 sebesar 5,901 dan variabel X2 sebesar 3,688 yang diperoleh lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,708 yang berarti berpengaruh.

Partai Aceh is a local party supported by former GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka) organizations such as the KPA and the GAM Assembly formed after the MoU Helsinki. Partai Aceh illustrates that the former GAM firmly believes that their political power cannot be contained by other groups. After entering politics from 2009, Partai Aceh experienced a decline in votes in 2019, this made researchers interested in conducting research on voter preferences for the Partai Aceh. Voter preferences themselves are choices of action based on values that are believed to give a political response that exists in a person. Political actions that are manifested from political values that a person believes in become a very decisive factor to direct to respond to the (political) situation he faces. This research is a quantitative research with a method of collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data processing is carried out using SPSS and Microsoft Excel applications with Validity, Reliability, and T tests carried out for hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that the hypothesis (H1) in this study is accepted or in other words voters of Southwest Aceh Regency have a high interest of Partai Aceh. Based on the results of questionnaires and data analysis, it shows that sociological and psychological variables affect voter rationality. The results of the validity and reliability test against the questionnaire showed valid results. The calculation of the reliability test with the Cronbach' alpha method studied in the sociological approach is 0.928, the psychological approach is 0.854, and the rationality approach is 0.893. Based on the analysis of the t test data of this study, the value of the X1 variable t test is 0.000 and the X2 variable is 0.000, this value is smaller than 0.05 which means it has an effect. The comparison of the t-value of the X1 variable of 5.901 and the X2 variable of 3.688 obtained is greater than the t-table value of 1.708 which means it has an effect.
