Pada Pilkada Indramayu 2020, terjadi peningkatan angka partisipasi masyarakat dibandingkan sebelumnya, peningkatan angka partisipasi masyarakat tahun 2020 naik 8% dari Pilkada tahun 2015 lalu. Peningkatan angkat tersebut terjadi bersamaan dengan kemunculan sosok aktor politik yaitu Lucky Hakim sebagai Calon Wakil Bupati Indramayu 2020 berpasangan dengan Nina Agustina sebagai Calon Bupati Indramayu 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terjadinya kenaikan partisipasi masyarakat berasal dari pengaruh kemunculan Lucky Hakim sehingga Lucky Hakim mampu mempengaruhi minat partisipasi masyarakat indramayu dan seberapa jauh kepercayaan masyarakat kepada Lucky Hakim dengan menggunakan teori kepercayaan politik (Political Trust) dan konsep partisipasi politik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket, observasi dan dokumentasi, serta pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode data editing, dan tabulasi data. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validasi, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik dan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh Lucky Hakim dengan persentase 73% pengaruh Lucky Hakim terhadap peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat pada Pilkada di Indramayu 2020.

In the 2020 Indramayu Regional Election, there was an increase in society participation compared to the previous election. The society participation rate in 2020 increased by 8% from the 2015 election. This increase coincided with the emergence of a political figure, Lucky Hakim, as the candidate for Vice Regent of Indramayu in 2020, paired with Nina Agustina as the candidate for Regent of Indramayu in 2020. Based on the background mentioned above, this study aims to determine whether the increase in political participation is influenced by the emergence of Lucky Hakim and whether Lucky Hakim is able to influence the political participation of the people of Indramayu. Additionally, it aims to assess the level of trust the community has in Lucky Hakim, using the concept of political trust and political participation. This research is conducted as a quantitative study, utilizing data collection methods such as questionnaire distribution, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is processed using data editing and tabulation methods. The research includes validation and reliability tests using Likert scales. The research results indicate that the increase in community participation is influenced by Lucky Hakim, with a 73% influence of Lucky Hakim on the increase in community participation in the 2020 Indramayu Regional Election.
