Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa sejarah kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh. Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah siswa kurang aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran generatif, nilai keaktifan siswa, dan pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keaktifan belajar. Pendekataan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen design dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 2 kelas. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ialah tes dan angket. Pada teknik analisis data menggunakan tes, analisis angket keaktifan siswa, analisis regresi linear sederhana, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keaktifan pada mata pelajaran sejarah Indonesia sudah dilakukan dengan sintak model pembelajaran generatif yang terdapat pada Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan berjalan lancer. Hasil angket keaktifan belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif mendapat nilai akhir 79,1 maka dapat disimpulkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah sangat antusias dengan kategori baik. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keaktifan belajar dengan persentase hubungan kedua variabel sebesar 62 persen dan 38 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai uji t hitung lebih besar t tabel atau 3,380 lebih besar 2,101. Sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran generatif berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh. Maka model pembelajarn generatif efektif diterapkan pada mata pelajaran sejarah.

This research discusses the influence of the generative learning model on the active learning of history students in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh. The background to the problem in this research is that in the history learning process students are less active. This research aims to determine the application of generative learning models, the value of student activity, and the influence of using generative learning models on learning activity. This approach uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research design with a one shot case study research design. The population in this study was all students in class XI IPS, totaling 2 classes. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling, the sample used in this research was class XI IPS students, totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques in this research are tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use tests, student activity questionnaire analysis, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research showed that the application of the generative learning model to activity in Indonesian history subjects had been carried out using the syntax of the generative learning model contained in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and was running smoothly. The results of the questionnaire on student learning activity after participating in learning using the generative learning model received a final score of 79.1, so it can be concluded that student activity in learning history was very enthusiastic in the good category. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that there was a significant influence between the generative learning model on learning activity with a percentage of the relationship between the two variables of 62 percent and 38 percent influenced by environmental factors. The results of the hypothesis test obtained that the calculated t test value was greater than t table or 3.380, greater than 2.101. So the application of the generative learning model has an effect on the active learning of class XI IPS2 students at SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh. So the generative learning model is effectively applied to history subjects. Keywords: Generative Learning Model, Learning Activeness
