Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Motif Ragam Hias Pucoek Oen Nilam khas Aceh Jaya pada Tudung Saji”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan motif ragam hias Pucoek Oen Nilam khas Aceh Jaya pada tudung saji. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan motif ragam hias Pucoek Oen Nilam khas Aceh Jaya pada tudung saji. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Mak Leot Aisyah, sebagai masyarakat yang menciptakan kreatifitas penerapan ragam hias motif Pucoek Oen Nilam. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan motif ragam hias Pucoek Oen Nilam pada tudung saji yang ada di Aceh Jaya. Data diperoleh dengan Teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan mereduksi data terlebih dahulu kemudian menyajikannya dalam bentuk uraian singkat dan akhirnya dilakukan verifikasi data. Dalam penerapan motif ragam hias Pucoek Oen Nilam khas Aceh Jaya pada tudung saji (sange) ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan diantaranya: Proses menggunting kain, Proses melilitkan kawat dengan pita hitam, Proses menempelkan kain yang telah dibordir pada kerangka kawat tudung saji, Proses menjahit hiasan pada tudung saji, dan Hasil dari proses pembuatan tudung saji motif Pucoek Oen Nilam. Proses pembuatan motif Pucoek Oen Nilam pada tudung saji ini juga memerlukan beberapa peralatan. Peralatan yang digunakan diantaranya seperti mesin bordir, gunting, alat lem tembak dan besi sebagai kerangka. Maka hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan motif Pucoek Oen Nilam pada seni kriya tekstil pada tudung saji menggunakan Teknik bordir dan Teknik tempel manual pada kerangka tudung saji.

This research is entitled "Application of Aceh Jaya's typical Pucoek Oen Patchouli Decorative Motifs to the Saji Tudung". The formulation of the problem in this research is how to apply the Pucoek Oen Nilam decorative motif typical of Aceh Jaya to serving hoods. The aim of this research is to describe how to apply the Pucoek Oen Nilam decorative motif typical of Aceh Jaya to serving hoods. The subject of this research is Mak Leot Aisyah, as a community member who creates creativity in applying various decorative Pucoek Oen Nilam motifs. The object of this research is the application of Pucoek Oen Nilam decorative motifs to serving hoods in Aceh Jaya. Data was obtained using interview and documentation techniques. The analysis used is to reduce the data first, then present it in the form of a short description and finally verify the data. In applying the Pucoek Oen Nilam decorative motif typical of Aceh Jaya on the serving hood (sange) several stages are used, including: The process of cutting the cloth, The process of wrapping the wire with black ribbon, The process of attaching the embroidered cloth to the wire frame of the serving hood, The process of sewing the decorations on serving hoods, and the results of the process of making Pucoek Oen Nilam motif serving hoods. The process of making the Pucoek Oen Nilam motif on this serving hood also requires several equipment. The equipment used includes an embroidery machine, scissors, a glue gun and iron as a frame. So the results of the research show that the application of the Pucoek Oen Nilam motif in textile craft arts on serving hoods uses embroidery techniques and manual pasting techniques on the serving hood frame.
