Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan media Canva dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa pada aspek konten, pengorganisasian, dan tata bahasa. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Data diperoleh dari salah satukelas 10 SMA Laboratorium USK yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes (pre-test dan post-test) yang diberikan kepada siswa. Kemudian, data dianalisis menggunakan mean dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung (4,45) lebih besar dibandingkan dengan t-tabel (1,96) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Artinya penggunaan media Canva dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa dari segi isi, pengorganisasian, dan tata bahasa.
The purpose of this research was to investigate if the use of Canva media can improve the students’ writing skill in terms of content, organization, and grammar. A quantitative method with experimental research design was applied in this research. The data was obtained from one class of grade 10 students of SMA Laboratorium of USK which was selected by using random sampling technique. The data was collected by using a test (pre-test and post-test) which were given to the students. Then, the data were analysed using mean and t-test. The result showed that t-test (4.45) was higher than the t-table (1,96) at the 5% significance level. It indicated that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that the use of Canva media can improve students’ writing skill in terms of content, organization, and grammar.
