ABSTRAK
Rumusan masalah penelitian ini jenis gaya bahasa apa saja yang terdapat dalam syair Didong Lakiki. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis gaya bahasa apa saja yang terdapat dalam syair Didong Lakiki. Manfaat teoretis penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber bacaan bagi penelitian jenis sastra lain dan sebagai sumber informasi tambahan tentang ilmu pengetahuan gaya bahasa. Kemudian, manfaat praktis penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan menganalisis gaya bahasa bagi para peneliti gaya bahasa selanjutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah syair didong dalam buku berjudul Didong Lakiki, terbitan Proyek Penerbitan Buku Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah, jakarta, 1982. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat terdiri atas beberapa langkah, yaitu (1) membaca syair didong dengan teliti; (2) Mencatat kata atau frasa yang mengandung gaya bahasa ke dalam korpus data; (3) Mengidentifikasi kata atau frasa dalam syair didong yang mengandung gaya bahasa; dan (4) menganalisis data berdasarkan gaya bahasa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan terdiri atas beberapa langkah, yaitu (1) Membaca seluruh syair dengan cermat; (2) Mentabulasikan data dan mengklasifikasikannya berdasarkan jenis gaya bahasa; (3) Menganalisis jenis gaya bahasa yang terdapat pada syair Didong Lakiki; dan (4) Menyimpulkan hasil analisis gaya bahasa yang terdapat pada syair Didong Lakiki. Hasil penelitian Didong Lakiki terdapat empat jenis gaya bahasa, yaitu (1) gaya bahasa perulangan yang terdiri dari anafora, tautotes, simploke, epistrofora, epizeukis, mesodiplosis, dan anadiplosis; (2) gaya bahasa pertautan yang terdiri dari eponim, eufemisme, dan epitet; (3) gaya bahasa perbandingan yang terdiri dari, metafora, perumpamaan, personifikasi, dan pleonasme atau tautologi; dan (4) gaya bahasa pertentangan terdiri dari, hiperbola dan histeron proteron.

ABSTRACT The formulation of the research problem is what types of figurative language are contained in Didong Lakiki's poem. The purpose of this study is to find out what types of figurative language are found in Didong Lakiki's poetry. The theoretical benefits of this research can be used as a source of reading for research on other types of literature and as an additional source of information about the science of figurative language. Then, the practical benefits of this research can be used as a reference for analyzing language style for future language style researchers. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data source for this study was the didong poetry in a book entitled Didong Lakiki, published by the Indonesian and Regional Literature Book Publishing Project, Jakarta, 1982. The data collection technique used reading and note-taking techniques consisted of several steps, namely (1) reading the didong poems carefully; (2) Recording words or phrases that contain figurative language into the data corpus; (3) Identifying words or phrases in didong poetry that contain figurative language; and (4) analyzing data based on language style. The data analysis technique was carried out consisting of several steps, namely (1) Reading the entire poem carefully; (2) Tabulating the data and classifying them based on the type of language style; (3) analyzing the types of figurative language found in Didong Lakiki's poem; and (4) Summarize the results of the stylistic analysis contained in the Didong Lakiki poem. The results of Didong Lakiki's research show that there are four types of figurative language, namely (1) repetitive figurative language consisting of anaphora, tautotes, simploke, epistrophora, epizeukis, mesodiplosis, and anadiplosis; (2) linking language style consisting of eponyms, euphemisms, and epithets; (3) comparative figurative language consisting of metaphors, similes, personifications, and pleonasms or tautologies; and (4) the figurative language of contradiction consisting of hyperbole and proteron hysterone.
