Penanganan masalah kemiskinan menjadi fokus utama banyak negara maju maupun negara berkembang. Provinsi Aceh merupakan Provinsi dengan tingkat kemiskinan tertinggi di Pulau Sumatera. Penggunaan regresi data panel dianggap sesuai untuk analisis permasalahan ekonomi, diantaranya seperti kemiskinan dan pengangguran. Analisis regresi data panel merupakan metode untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dengan menggabungkan data cross section dan time series. Dalam regresi data panel terdapat tiga estimasi model, yakni Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, dan Random Effect Model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estimasi model regresi data panel terbaik dan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan serta menentukan keakuratan model terhadap Kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh. Data cross section dalam penelitian ini yaitu 23 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh sedangkan data time series yaitu selama periode 2017-2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model regresi data panel terbaik adalah Fixed Effect Model. Variabel IPM, Indeks Kesehatan, dan Garis Kemiskinan secara individu mempengaruhi variabel Kemiskinan dan mampu menjelaskan variabel Kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh sebesar 98,83%, sedangkan sisanya yaitu 1,17% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar model.

Addressing poverty is a major focus of many developed and developing countries. Aceh Province has the highest poverty rate in Sumatra Island. The use of panel data regression is considered suitable for analyzing economic problems, such as poverty and unemployment. Panel data regression analysis is a method to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable by combining cross section and time series data. In panel data regression, there are three estimation models, namely Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, and Random Effect Model. This study aims to determine the best panel data regression model estimation and find out what factors affect poverty and determine the accuracy of the model on Poverty in Aceh Province. The cross section data in this study are 23 districts/cities in Aceh Province while the time series data are during the 2017-2021 period. The results of this study indicate that the best panel data regression model is the Fixed Effect Model. The HDI, Health Index, and Poverty Line variables jointly affect the Poverty variable and are able to explain the Poverty variable in Aceh Province by 98.83%, while the remaining 1.17% is influenced by other variables outside the model.
