ABSTRAK
Diabetes Melitus (DM) tipe 2 merupakan salah satu tipe DM yang banyak diderita oleh penderita DM. Adapun DM tipe 2 dapat mewariskan kepada keturunannya sehingga perlu dilakukan pencegahan dalam munculnya menderita DM tipe 2. Pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu seperti berolahraga, penurunan berat badan, dan pengaturan pola makan. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan penelitian sebelumnya dengan fokus utama terhadap individu yang memiliki riwayat genetik pernah menderita DM tipe 2 dan dianjurkan untuk memilih salah satu dari tiga parameter pencegahan yang terlibat. Pengembangan model selanjutnya dicari nilai titik kesetimbangan bebas DM tipe 2 dan DM tipe 2 dan model akan dianalisis kestabilannya pada titik kesetimbangan. Pencarian bilangan reproduksi dasar (R0) yang menggunakan next generation matrix yang didapatkan bahwa untuk setiap asumsi memperoleh nilai R0 < 1. Dari ketiga parameter yang terlibat, didapatkan bahwa parameter penurunan berat badan memiliki peran yang besar dalam membantu mencegah individu mengalami DM tipe 2.

ABSTRACT Diabetes Mellitus (DM) type 2 is one type of DM that is suffered by many DM sufferers. Type 2 DM can pass on to its offspring so it is necessary to prevent the emergence of type 2 DM. Prevention can be done such as exercise, weight loss, and dietary regulation. This study is a development of previous research with a primary focus on individuals who have a genetic history of having suffered from type 2 DM and it is recommended to choose one of the three prevention parameters involved. The next model development is to find the free equilibrium point values of DM type 2 and DM type 2 and the model will be analyzed for stability at the equilibrium point. A search of the basic reproduction number (R0) using the next generation matrix obtained that for each assumption obtained the value (R0 < 1). Of the three parameters involved, it was found that weight loss parameters have a large role in helping prevent individuals from experiencing type 2 DM.
