Osteoarthritis lutut didefinisikan sebagai penyakit rematik yang menyebabkan rasa
sakit dan kekakuan pada sendi lutut yang menghambat pergerakan penderita.
Penggunaan NSAID mampu mengurangi keluhan nyeri pada pasien OA lutut.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas penggunaan
NSAID selektif dan non selektif pada pasien OA lutut di RSUDZA Banda Aceh.
Penelitian dilakukan secara observasional dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Data
dari rekam medis yang diperoleh sejumlah 33 subjek penelitian sesuai kriteria
inklusi dan eksklusi. Dari hasil uji statistik T-Test didapatkan penurunan nyeri
tertinggi pada pemberian NSAID selektif dengan rata-rata penurunan nyeri pada
evaluasi pertama sebesar 1,25 dan 2,25 pada evaluasi kedua. Adapun pada
penggunaan NSAID non selektif didapatkan rata-rata penurunan nyeri pada
evaluasi pertama sebesar 1,00 dan 1,76 pada evaluasi kedua. Hasil evaluasi pertama
dan kedua didapatkan nilai P (P-Value)=0,320 dan 0,144. Dari hasil tersebut dapat
disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara NSAID selektif
dan non selektif dalam menurunkan skala nyeri pada pasien OA lutut di RSUDZA
Banda Aceh.
Knee osteoarthritis is defined as a rheumatic disease that causes pain and stiffness in the knee joint that hinders the patient's movement. The use of NSAIDs can reduce complaints of pain in patients with knee OA. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of the use of selective and non-selective NSAIDs in patients with knee OA at RSUDZA Banda Aceh. The study was conducted in an observational way with a retrospective approach. Data from medical records obtained by a number of 33 research subjects according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. From the results of the T-Test statistical test, it was found that the highest pain reduction was in the administration of selective NSAIDs with an average decrease in pain in the first evaluation of 1.25 and 2.25 in the second evaluation. As for the use of non selective NSAIDs, the average reduction in pain in the first evaluation was 1.00 and 1.76 in the second evaluation. The results of the first and second evaluations obtained P values (P-Value) = 0.320 and 0.144. From these results it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between selective and non-selective NSAIDs in reducing the pain scale in knee OA patients at RSUDZA Banda Aceh.
