Palang Merah Indonesia merupakan instansi kesehatan yang bertugas untuk
menyediakan darah selain instansi yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Kesehatan. Salah
satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh PMI adalah umur darah yang relatif pendek
sekitar 21 hari. Kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan dua kemungkinan buruk terjadi
yaitu overstock dan stockout persediaan darah. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan
persediaan darah perlu diperhatikan dengan baik supaya PMI mampu memenuhi
permintaan darah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merencanakan bagaimana
persediaan darah pada UDD PMI Kota Banda Aceh berdasarkan hasil peramalan
menggunakan metode simulasi Monte Carlo dan merumuskan rekomendasi yang
diberikan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan overstock dan stockout persediaan
darah berdasarkan hasil perhitungan safety stock dan reorder point dengan
menggunakan Continuous Review. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
permintaan darah pada tahun 2023 sebanyak 45.344 kantong darah, tahun 2024
sebanyak 47.145 kantong darah dan tahun 2025 sebanyak 47.903 kantong darah.
Safety stock darah yang harus dimiliki UDD PMI Kota Banda Aceh adalah
sebanyak 786 kantong darah serta reorder point berada pada titik 916 kantong
darah. UDD PMI Kota Banda Aceh dapat melakukan kerjasama dengan instansi
yang ada di Provinsi Aceh dengan hadir dan ikut serta dalam program yang
dilaksanakan instansi tersebut serta menetapkan target maksimum pendonoran
darah dalam satu hari apabila sudah mencapai target maka pendonor yang belum
mendapatkan kesempatan dialihkan ke bulan berikutnya dan memisahkan
penyimpanan dengan jangka waktu setengah masa lifetime darah agar darah yang
hampir memasuki masa kadaluarsa dapat digunakan lebih dulu.

The Indonesian Red Cross is a health agency which assigned to providing blood other than the agencies stipulated by the Minister of Health. One of the problems faced by Indonesian Red Cross is the relatively short lifespan of blood which is around 21 days. This condition can generate two bad possibilities condition that is blood overstock and blood stockout. The increase of blood demand requires the Indonesia Red Cross to be able to fulfill the blood demand by patients. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention the management of blood supply so that the Indonesia Red Cross isa able to fulfill the blood demand. This study aims to plan blood supply at Indonesia Red Cross of Banda Aceh based of forecasting using Monte Carlo simulation method and formulate recommendation which can be used to solve the problem of overstock and stockout blood based on safety stock and reorder point using Continuous Review result. The results of this study indicate that the demand for blood in 2023 was 45,344 blood bags, in 2024 there were 47,145 blood bags and in 2025 there were 47,903 blood bags. The safety stock of blood that must be owned by UDD PMI Banda Aceh City is 786 blood bags and the reorder point is at 916 blood bags. UDD PMI Banda Aceh City can collaborate with agencies in Aceh Province by attending and participating in programs implemented by these agencies and setting a maximum target of blood donors in one day if they have reached the target, donors who have not had the opportunity will be transferred to the following month and separate storage with a period of half blodd lifetime so that the blood that is about to enter its expiration date can be used first.
