Penelitian ini : Tradisi Maulid adalah adat istiadat atau warisan kepercayaan yang secara turun temurun dipelihara di suatu daerah tertentu, yang dianggap sebagai upacara keagamaan yang sakral dan suci. Tradisi Maulid juga dilaksanakan untuk menunjukkan rasa kecintaan dan penghormatan kepada Penghulu Alam Nabi Muhammad Saw di bulan kelahiran Beliau. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan tradisi maulid oleh masyarakat Gampong Nigan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana realitas dari nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi maulid di gampong Nigan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. (3) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi maulid dapat meningkatkan semangat kesatuan masyarakat Gampong Nigan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 9 orang, 4 aparat gampong, 3 tokoh masyarakat, 2 masyarakat. Lokasi penelitian terletak di Gampong Nigan Keucamatan Seunagan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Tradisi maulid di Gampong Nigan masih rutin dilaksanakan, biasanya maulod awai, sebelum pelaksanaan tradisi maulid dilakukannya musyawarah bersama serta pembentukan panitia maulid. Tradisi maulid dihadiri oleh masyarakat gampong nigan dan rombongan zikir dari beberapa gampong. (2) Terdapat bentuk-bentuk dari realitas nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi maulid oleh masyarakat gampong nigan. Terlihat dari tindakan mereka yang saling berkerjasama, tolong menolong, pelaksanaan tradisi maulid didasari keikhlasan, rela mengorbankan waktu dan tenaga, dan manusia hidup bersosial. (3) Pelaksanaan tradisi maulid dapat meningkatkan semangat kesatuan masyarakat Gampong Nigan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Pelaksanaan tradisi maulid menjadi kegiatan rutin yang dilaksanakan di gampong nigan, sebelum maulid diadakan musyawarah bersama sekaligus pembentukan penanggungjawab maulid. Respon masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan tradisi maulid sangat bersemangat dan antusias. (2) Terdapat realitas dari nilai gotong royong dalam pelaksanaan tradisi maulid. (3) Pelaksanaan tradisi maulid dapat meningkatkan semangat kesatuan masyarakat Gampong Nigan, ditunjukkan dengan keinginan masyarakat untuk terus dapat bekerjasama kedepannya.

This research is about: "The Value of Mutual Cooperation in the Maulid Tradition to Increase the Spirit of Community Unity in Nigan Village, Nagan Raya Regency". The Mawlid tradition is an inherited custom or belief that has been maintained for generations in a certain area, which is considered a sacred and sacred religious ceremony. The Mawlid tradition is also carried out to show a sense of love and respect for the Penghulu Alam Prophet Muhammad SAW in the month of his birth. This study aims: (1) To find out the process of implementing the maulid tradition by the people of Nigan Village, Nagan Raya Regency. (2) To find out how the reality of the value of gotong royong is in the maulid tradition in the village of Nigan, Nagan Raya Regency. (3) To find out how the value of gotong royong in the maulid tradition can increase the spirit of community unity in Nigan Village, Nagan Raya Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Collecting data using the interview method. There were 9 informants in this study, 4 village officials, 3 community leaders, 2 members of the community. The research location is located in the village of Nigan, Seunagan District, Nagan Raya Regency. The results of the study show that: (1) The maulid tradition in Nigan village is still routinely carried out, usually the maulid awai, before carrying out the maulid tradition a joint deliberation is held and the maulid committee is formed. The tradition of celebrating the birthday of the library by the people of the village of Nigan and groups of remembrance from several villages. (2) There are forms of the reality of the value of gotong royong in the maulid tradition by the Nigan village community. Apart from their actions working together, helping each other, the implementation of the birthday tradition reflects sincerity, is willing to sacrifice time and energy, and humans live socially. (3) The implementation of the maulid tradition can increase the spirit of unity of the Nigan village community. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The implementation of the maulid tradition is a routine activity carried out in the village of Nigan, before the maulid a joint deliberation is held as well as the formation of the person in charge of the maulid. The community's response to the implementation of the maulid tradition was very enthusiastic and enthusiastic. (2) There is a reality of the value of gotong royong in the implementation of the maulid tradition. (3) The implementation of the maulid tradition can increase the spirit of unity of the Nigan village community, which is indicated by the desire of the community to continue to be able to work together in the future.
