ABSTRAK
Ulkus diabetik merupakan salah satu bentuk dari komplikasi kronis diabetes melitus berupa luka pada permukaan kulit dan kematian jaringan setempat. Ekstrak daun kersen memiliki potensi sebagai obat herbal karena mengandung antioksidan yang tinggi mampu mengobati diabetes. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengamati penyembuhan ulkus diabetikum pada tikus putih (Rattus noevergicus) dengan memberikan krim ekstrak etanol daun kersen 15%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Tikus jantan berjumlah 27 ekor dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Semua kelompok perlakuan diinduksi dengan Streptozotocin, kemudian dibuat sayatan pada kulit. Kelompok ke-1 tidak diberikan perlakuan, kelompok ke-2 diberikan krim silversulfiadiazine, kelompok ke-3 diberikan krim ekstrak etanol kersen 15%. Pengamatan dilakukan pada hari ke-3, 7 dan 14 meliputi penebalan jaringan epitel, jumlah kelenjar sebasea, kelenjar keringat dan folikel rambut. Hasil penelitan menunjukan ketebal epitel hari ke-3 K1, K2 dan K3 yaitu 0,04. Hari ke-7 yaitu 0,06., 0,06., 0,09. Hari ke 14 yaitu 0,09., 9,06., 0,6. Jumlah kelenjar keringat K1, K2, K3 hari ke-3: 2,67., 3,67., 6,3. Hari 7 yaitu 1,33., 1,00., 8,33. Hari ke 14 yaitu 2,00., 2,67., 9,33. Jumlah kelenjar sebasea K1, K2, K3 hari ke-3 7,67., 7,00., 12,00. Hari ke 7 yaitu 7,33., 9,00., 11, 33. Hari ke 14 yaitu 5,33., 16,33., 21,67 dan jumlah folikel rambut pada hari 3 yaitu 6,00., 9,67., 11,33. Hari ke 7 yaitu 8,33., 12,00., 17,33. Hari ke 14 9,00., 20,67., 23,67. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada kelompok kelenjar sebasea dan jumlah folikel rambut pada hari ke 14 dengan menggunakan krim ekstrak daun kersen 15% dibandingkan kelompok ketebalan epitel dan kelenjar keringat. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa penggunaan krim ekstrak kersen 15% dapat mempercepat penyembuhan ulkus diabetikum.

ABSTRACT Diabetic ulcer is one form of chronic complications of diabetes mellitus in the form of injury to the surface of the skin and death of local tissue. Kersen leaf extract has potential as an herbal medicine because it contains high antioxidants able to treat diabetes. The purpose of this study was to observe the healing of diabetic ulcers in white rats (Rattus noevergicus) by giving 15% cherry leaf ethanol extract cream. This study used experimental methods. Male rats numbering 27 heads are divided into 3 groups. All treatment groups were induced with Streptozotocin, then an incision was made on the skin. The 1st group was not given treatment, the 2nd group was given silversulfiadiazine cream, the 3rd group was given 15% kersen ethanol extract cream. Observations made on days 3, 7 and 14 included thickening of epithelial tissue, number of sebaceous glands, sweat glands and hair follicles. The results showed the thickness of the epithelium on day 3 K1, K2 and K3 was 0.04. Day 7 is 0.06., 0.06., 0.09. Day 14 is 0.09., 9.06., 0.6. The number of sweat glands K1, K2, K3 3rd day: 2.67., 3.67., 6.3. Day 7 is 1.33., 1.00., 8.33. Day 14 is 2.00., 2.67., 9.33. The number of sebaceous glands K1, K2, K3 3rd day 7.67. ,7.00., 12.00. Day 7 is 7,33., 9,00., 11, 33. Day 14 was 5.33., 16.33., 21.67 and the number of hair follicles on day 3 was 6.00., 9.67., 11.33. Day 7 is 8.33., 12.00., 17.33. Day 14 9.00., 20.67., 23.67. The results showed an increase in the sebaceous gland group and the number of hair follicles on day 14 using 15% cherry leaf extract creamcompared to the thicknes group of epitheliumand sweat glands.
