Pelayanan Kesehatan merupakan aspek penting bagi masyarakat karena termasuk Hak Asasi Manusia yang harus ada pada suatu negara. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sarana kesehatan infrastuktur merupakan faktor penting. Namun selain itu, aksesibilitas merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi pembangunan pelayanan kesehatan. Dengan adanya aksesibilitas yang terjangkau bagi seluruh masyarakat dapat membuat faktor pelayanan kesehatan semakin baik. Pada daerah Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara fasilitas kesehatan yang ada ditiap kecamatannya untuk pola sebaran, aksesibilitas serta sebaran tenaga kesehatan yang ada belum diketahui secara pasti lingkup sebarannya. Maka dari itu tujuan utama yang perlu dilakukan ialah untuk mengetahui letak pola sebaran fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit dan puskesmas yang ada ditiap kecamatannya.Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui sebaran pelayanan kesehatan tersebut ada tiga metode yaitu metode Nearest Neighbor untuk mengetahui apakah sebaran fasilitas kesehatan yang tersebar berkelompok, seragam atau acak; metode Service Area (Closest Facility) yang dimana digunakan untuk mencari jarak terdekat dari tiap desa ke fasilitas kesehatan yang tersedia; Serta yang terakhir menggunakan metode Service Area (OD Cost Matrix) guna untuk mencari jarak sebaran fasilitas kesehatan di tiap kecamatannya. Dari metode yang telah dilakukan tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa sebaran fasilitas kesehatan di Kabupaten Langkat belum tersebar secara merata ditiap kecamatan dan tenaga kesehatan yang tersedia pada tiap kecamatannya juga tidak mencukupi setelah dibandingkan dengan jumlah penduduk yang ada di Kabupaten Langkat.

But besides that, accessibility is a factor that influences the development of health services. With affordable accessibility for all people, health service factors can improve. In the area of Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, the health facilities in each sub-district are not known with certainty about the distribution pattern, accessibility and distribution of existing health workers. Therefore the main goal that needs to be done is to find out the location of the pattern of distribution of health facilities such as hospitals and health centers in each sub-district. There are three methods used to determine the distribution of health services, namely the Nearest Neighbor method to determine whether the distribution of health facilities is in groups, uniform or random; the Service Area (Closest Facility) method which is used to find the shortest distance from each village to the available health facilities; And the last one uses the Service Area (OD Cost Matrix) method to find the distance to the distribution of health facilities in each sub-district. From the method that has been carried out, the result is that the distribution of health facilities in Langkat District is not evenly distributed in each sub-district and the available health workers in each sub-district are also insufficient when compared to the total population in Langkat District.
