PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penjualan kendaraan Mitsubishi yang berlokasi di Banda Aceh dan Medan. Pendistribusian dari perusahaan ini dilakukan ke sepuluh kabupaten/ kota yang ada di provinsi Aceh. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan ini yaitu proses pengiriman yang tidak seimbang atau belum baik, artinya jika persediaan di salah satu gudang kosong maka akan mengakibatkan proses pengiriman menjadi lama dan akan mengeluarkan biaya yang besar dalam proses pendistribusiannya. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan metode zero point. Metode zero point merupakan metode langsung yang tidak memerlukan solusi awal, metode ini memberikan solusi pada solusi optimum tanpa melalui metode lain, serta mudah dipahami dan diterapkan karena prosedurnya yang sederhana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendapatkan hasil distribusi terbaik untuk kendaraan dengan menggunakan metode zero point pada bilangan fuzzy trapezoidal pada PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors dan mengetahui perbandingan hasil biaya distribusi yang diperoleh dari metode zero point dengan hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan biaya distribusi pengiriman kendaraan oleh PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors menggunakan metode zero point pada bilangan fuzzy trapezoidal mengalami penghematan biaya dengan penurunan biaya sebanyak 17.89% dari hasil yang dikeluarkan oleh PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors. Hasil dari metode zero point lebih optimal dibandingkan dengan hasil yang didapat menggunakan metode Aproksimasi Vogel (Vogel’s Approximation Method) sebagai solusi awal dan metode Modified Distribution Method (MODI) sebagai uji optimalisasi. Dengan menggunakan metode zero point, biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh PT. Bintang Indah Perkasa Motors mengalami penurunan 9.98% dibandingkan dengan metode sebelumnya.

ABSTRACT PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors is one of the companies engaged in the sale of Mitsubishi vehicles located in Banda Aceh and Medan. The distribution of this company is carried out to ten districts / cities in Aceh province. The problem faced by this company is that the shipping process is unbalanced or not good, meaning that if the inventory in one of the warehouses is empty, it will result in a long shipping process and will incur large costs in the distribution process. One way that can be done to overcome this problem is to apply the zero point method. The zero point method is a direct method that does not require an initial solution, this method provides a solution to the optimum solution without going through other methods, and is easy to understand and apply because of its simple procedure. The purpose of this study is to obtain the best distribution results for vehicles using the zero point method on trapezoidal fuzzy numbers in PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors and knows the comparison of distribution cost results obtained from the zero point method with the results obtained in previous research. This research resulted in the distribution cost of vehicle delivery by PT. Bintang Perkasa Indah Motors using the zero point method on trapezoidal fuzzy numbers experienced cost savings with a decrease in costs by 17.89% of the results issued by PT. Mighty Star Beautiful Motors. The results of the zero point method are more optimal than the results obtained using Vogel's Approximation Method as the initial solution and the Modified Distribution Method (MODI) method as the optimization test. By using the zero point method, the costs incurred by PT. Bintang Indah Perkasa Motors experienced a decrease of 9.98% compared to the previous method.
