Abstrak

Krueng Peuto merupakan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) yang berada di wilayah Aceh Utara. Hilir sungai Krueng Peuto bermuara dengan DAS Krueng Keureuto. Pembukaan lahan perkebunan pada suatu DAS menyebabkan berkurangnya infiltrasi tanah dan menyebabkan terjadinya pengikisan tanah. Erosi terjadi karena curah hujan yang tinggi. Tanah terangkut bersama aliran dan mengendap di sungai mengakibatkan pendangkalan dan penyempitan sungai oleh karena adanya sedimentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju sedimentasi lahan pada DAS Krueng Peuto dari tahun 2011-2021. Perhitungan sedimentasi dilakukan menggunakan Metode Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE) berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Berdasarkan hasil analisis Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Krueng Peuto didominasi oleh jenis tanah ultisol. jenis penggunaan lahan dan tanaman didominasikan oleh Hutan lahan kering sekunder sebesar 10.225,28 ha, dan memiliki kelas lereng agak curam dengan nilai LS 2.73. Rata-rata laju sedimentasi lahan DAS Krueng Peuto dari tahun 2011-2021 di dapatkan sebesar 13.906,58 ton/tahun atau 0,48 ton/ha/tahun. Dengan mengatahui laju sedimentasi yang terjadi pada tahun 2011-2021, Sedimentasi Lahan pada DAS Krueng Peuto Tahun 2030 dapat dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linear sederhana diperoleh hasil sedimen sebesar 15.674,6 ton/tahun atau 0,55 ton/ha/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan hal yang sangat mempengaruhi besarnya laju sedimentasi lahan adalah faktor tinggi curah hujan, yang mengakibatkan volume limpasan dan debit puncak meningkat.

Abstract Krueng Peuto is a watershed located in North Aceh. Downstream of the Krueng Peuto river empties directly into the Krueng Keureuto watershed. Clearing of plantation land in a watershed leads to reduced soil infiltration and causes soil erosion. Erosion occurs due to high rainfall. The soil is transported with the flow and settles in the river resulting in silting and narrowing of the river due to sedimentation. This study aims to determine the sedimentation rate of land in the Krueng Peuto watershed. Sedimentation calculations were carried out using the Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE) Method based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Based on the results of the analysis, the Krueng Peuto Watershed (DAS) is dominated by ultisol soil types. The type of plant use is dominated by secondary dryland forest of 10.225,28 ha, and has a rather steep slope class with an LS value of 2.73. The sedimentation rate of Krueng Peuto watershed land from 2011-2021 was obtained at 13.906,58 tons / year or 0.48 tons / ha / year. By knowing the sedimentation rate that occurred in 2011-2021, Land sedimentation in the Krueng Peuto watershed in 2030 can be analyzed using a simple linear regression method obtained sediment results of 15.674,6 tons / year or 0,55 tons / ha / year. Based on the results obtained, things that affect the magnitude of land sedimentation rates are factors such as high rainfall, which results in increased volume of runoff and peak discharge.
