Kepuasan kerja diyakini berkontribusi pada kinerja dan komitmen kerja. Kepuasan kerja dosen dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pengajaran yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa sehingga berdampak pada kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui determinan kepuasan kerja dosen Program Studi Diploma III Keperawatan Politeknik Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Aceh. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Besar sampel penelitian berjumlah 115 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling; purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner karakteristik responden, kuesioner motivasi kerja yang dikembangkan berdasarkan model Herzberg dan kuesioner Minnesota satisfaction questionnaire (MSQ) yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisa data mengunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial; Chi square test dan regresi logistik berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan faktor usia (p=0,010), status kepegawaian (p=0,001), sertifikasi dosen (p=0,031), masa kerja (p=0,001), prestasi (p=0,000), pengakuan (p=0,000), tanggung jawab (p=0,000), kemajuan (p=0,012), pengembangan potensi individu (p=0,000), dan tidak ada hubungan jenis kelamin (p=0,075), tingkat pendidikan (p=1,000), status pernikahan (p=0,185), pekerjaan itu sendiri (p=0,236) dengan kepuasan kerja dosen. Faktor tanggung jawab merupakan yang paling berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja dosen di Politeknik Kesesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Aceh [ (p=0,000 dan odds ratio (OR)] = 27,611 95% CI: 4,814158,36]. Tanggung jawab dosen keperawatan mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan dosen, dan hal ini akan berdampak pada kinerja dan kualitas sumber daya keperawatan yang dihasilkan. Bagi institusi pendidikan keperawatan untuk mengevaluasi kepuasan kerja dosen secara periodik sebagai upaya dalam peningkatan kualitas tridarma perguruan tinggi.

Job satisfaction has been an important topic for many years because job satisfaction is believed to contribute to performance and work commitment. Likewise with lecturer job satisfaction, lecturer dissatisfaction with their work can affect the quality of the teaching given to students, impacting the quality of graduates produced. This study aimed to determine the determinants of job satisfaction for lecturers of the Diploma III Study Program in Nursing at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Aceh. This type of quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The size of the research sample was determined by the total sampling method for all 115 lecturers of the Diploma III Nursing Study Program; the sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique; purposive sampling, that meets the criteria. The data collection tool used a respondent characteristic questionnaire, a work motivation questionnaire developed based on the Herzberg model, and a Minnesota satisfaction questionnaire (MSQ), which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistics; chi-square test, and Multiple Logistic Regression. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p=0.010), employment status (p=0.001), lecturer certification (p=0.031), years of service (p=0.001), achievement (p=0.000), recognition (p=0.000 ), responsibility (p=0.000), progress (p=0.012), development of individual potential (p=0.000), and no relationship between gender (p=0.075), level of education (p=1.000), marital status (p = 0.185), the work itself (p = 0.236) with lecturer job satisfaction. The responsibility factor is most related to the job satisfaction of lecturers at the Health Polytechnic of the Aceh Ministry of Health with p=0.000 and odds ratio (OR) = 27.611 (95% CI: 4.814158.360). The responsibilities of nursing lecturers affect the level of satisfaction, and this will have an impact on the performance and quality of the nursing resources produced. For nursing education institutions to evaluate lecturer job satisfaction periodically as an effort to improve the quality of higher education tri dharma.
