Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan good government governance terhadap motivasi kerja ASN dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan dengan objek penelitian pejabat eselon III dan IV/pejabat fungsional pada 19 Dinas/Instansi Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 336 Orang. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik proportionate stratified random sampling, yaitu cara pengambilan sampel bilamana populasi mempunyai anggota/unsur yang tidak homogen dan berstrata secara proporsional. Sedangkan penentuan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin, sehingga diperoleh sampel sejumlah 183 Orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner yang diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dan SEM-Amos. Hasil penelitian diskriptif, kepemimpinan transformasional, good government governance, motivasi kerja ASN dan kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan sudah baik. Hasil penelitian berhubungan langsung, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja ASN; good government governance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja ASN; kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan; good government governance berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan; motivasi kerja ASN berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Sedangkan hasil penelitian tidak berhubungan langsung, tidak terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan good government governance terhadap kinerja pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan melalui mediasi motivasi kerja ASN.

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and good government governance on ASN work motivation and their impact on the performance of the South Aceh District government with the research object of echelon III and IV officials/functional officials in 19 Government Agencies/Department of South Aceh District. The population in this study amounted to 336 people. The sample selection technique used is the proportionate stratified random sampling, namely the sampling method when the population has members/elements that are not homogeneous and are proportionally stratified. While determining the number of samples in this study using the Slovin formula, in order to obtain a sample of 183 people. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires which were measured using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS and SEM-Amos applications. The results of descriptive research, transformational leadership, good government governance, ASN work motivation and the performance of the South Aceh District government are good. The research results are directly related, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on ASN work motivation; good government governance has a positive and significant effect on ASN work motivation; transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the South Aceh District government; good government governance has a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of the South Aceh District government; ASN work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the South Aceh District government. While the research results are not directly related, there is no effect of transformational leadership and good government governance on the performance of the South Aceh District government through the mediation of ASN work motivation.
