Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang proses kreatif dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Riazul Iqbal dalam menulis buku Sudah Kubilang Jangan Jadi Guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan ekspresif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang berkaitan dengan proses kreatif seorang penulis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara langsung dengan penulis dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari hasil wawancara dengan penulis, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari hasil bacaan buku yang berkaitan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian proses kreatif Riazul Iqbal adalah sebagai berikut. (1) proses kreatif seorang penulis berdasarkan teori meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap inkubasi, tahap inspirasi, tahap penulisan, dan tahap revisi; (2) proses kreatif penulis menurut Riazul Iqbal meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan ide, tahap inspirasi, tahap penulisan, tahap penyuntingan, dan tahap revisi; (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses kreatif Riazul Iqbal adalah dorongan untuk menulis, kegemaran membaca buku, pengaruh orang-orang terdekat, dan komunitas yang pernah diikuti.

Riazul Iqbal's creative process in writing the book Sudah Kubilang Jangan Jadi Guru. This research examines the creative process and the factors that influence Riazul Iqbal in writing the book Sudah Kubilang Jangan Jadi Guru. The approach used in this study is an expressive approach with a type of qualitative research related to the creative process of a writer. The data collection techniques used are direct interviews with the authors and literature study. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. Primary data is obtained directly from interviews with the author, while secondary data is obtained from reading related books. The results of Riazul Iqbal's creative process research are as follows. (1) the creative process of a writer based on theory includes five stages, namely the preparation stage, the incubation stage, the inspiration stage, the writing stage, and the revision stage; (2) the writer's creative process according to Riazul Iqbal includes five stages, namely the idea preparation stage, the inspiration stage, the writing stage, the editing stage, and the revision stage; (3) the factors that influence Riazul Iqbal's creative process are the urge to write, a penchant for reading books, the influence of those closest to him, and the community he has joined.
