Humanity penting dimiliki perawat pelaksana dalam memberi asuhaan keperawatan dan demi mewujudkan kepuasan pasien, sehingga berdampak terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di Rumah Sakit. Perawat pelaksana kesulitan dalam membangun interaksi personal dengan pasien dan merasa kesal pada pasien yang sulit memahami saat diberi penjelasan, bahkan ada diantaranya yang justru marahmarah kepada pasien mengakibatkan interaksi personal antara keduanya tidak dapat terjalin dengan bagus. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran humanity perawat pelaksana ruang rawat inap di RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 198 perawat pelaksana, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan Kuesioner Gambaran Humanity Perawat (KGHP) dan analisa data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian tentang gambaran humanity menunjukkan bahwa humanity perawat pelaksana berada pada kategori tinggi 86,4%. Hasil berdasarkan karakteristik humanity berada pada kategori tinggi untuk love (58,6%) dan kindness (94,4%) sedangkan social intelligence berada pada kategori sedang (51,5%). Diharapkan bagi perawat pelaksana dapat memberikan asuhan keperawatan tanpa membeda-bedakan pasien walaupun terdapat perbedaan kelas untuk ruang rawatan.

Humanity is important for associate nurses in providing nursing care and in order to achieve patient satisfaction, so it brings an impact on improving the quality of health services in hospitals. Associate nurses have difficulty in building personal interactions with patients and feel irritated with patients who have difficulty understanding of being given an explanation, some of them were exasperated at patients resulting in personal interactions between the two of them not being able to be well established. The research aims to find out the description of the humanity of associate nurses of ward at dr. Fauziah Bireuen. In this study, the descriptive exploratory method was employed. The sample in the study was 198 associate nurses, the sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used the Nurse Humanity Assessment Questionnaire (KGHP) and data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results of research on the description of humanity show that the humanity of implementing nurses was in the high category of 86.4%. Meanwhile, the results based on human characteristics were in the high category for love (58.6%) and kindness (94.4%) while social intelligence is in the medium category (51.5%). It is recommended that associate nurses provide nursing care without discriminating between patients even though there are different classes for treatment rooms.
