Ikan lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Usaha ikan lele merupakan usaha yang menjanjikan. Ikan lele memiliki siklus usaha yang relatif pendek dengan waktu pembenihan 1,5 bulan dan 3 bulan untuk pembesaran. Di wilayah Aceh Besar terdapat pembudidaya benih ikan lele tepatnya di Desa Dham Pulo yang petaninya memiliki lahan yang baik untuk dilakukannya kegiatan produksi benih ikan lele. Desa Dham Pulo juga terdapat pembudidaya pembesaran ikan lele yang erat kaitannya dengan produksi bibit ikan lele. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha pembenihan ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp.) di Dham Pulo Aceh Besar yang dilakukan oleh petani dilihat dari aspek finansialnya dan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui apakah usaha budidaya pembenihan ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp.) layak untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian untuk aspek finansial menujukkan hasil analisis Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) diperoleh sebesar 1,6 yang menunjukkan hasil B/C > 1, Payback Period (PP) sebesar 1 tahun 8 bulan, Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 149.324.974 dimana NPV > 0 dan selanjutnya Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 34% lebih besar dari DF yang ditentukan sebesar 6 % maka dengan ini menujukkan usaha ini layak untuk diteruskan. Pada hasil analisis SWOT usaha pembenihan ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp.) Di Dham Pulo Aceh Besar berada pada posisi kuadran 1 yaitu agresif yang berarti memiliki kondisi yang kuat dan berpeluang besar, maka strategi yang perlu diterapkan dalam kondisi ini yaitu mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif (growth oriented strategy).

Catfish is a type of freshwater fish that has high economic value. Catfish business is a promising business. Catfish have a relatively short business cycle with a hatchery time of 1.5 months and 3 months enlargement. In the Aceh Besar region, there are catfish seed cultivators, to be precise in Dham Pulo Village, whose farmers have good land to carry out catfish seed production activities. Dham Pulo Village there are also catfish growers which are closely related to the production of catfish seeds. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp.) hatchery business in Dham Pulo Aceh Besar which was carried out by farmers from the financial aspect and a SWOT analysis to find out whether the sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp.) hatchery business was feasible. developed. This study uses data collection techniques, namely through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results for the financial aspect, the results of the analysis of the Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) were obtained at 1.6 which showed the results of B/C > 1, Payback Period (PP) of 1 year and 8 months, Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 149,324,974 where the NPV > 0 and then the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 34% greater than the DF which is determined at 6%, so this shows that this business is feasible to continue. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp.) hatchery business in Dham Pulo Aceh Besar is in quadrant 1, namely aggressive, which means it has strong conditions and great opportunities, so the strategy that needs to be implemented in this condition is to support aggressive growth policies.
