RINGKASAN
Kopi memiliki banyak fungsi bagi kehidupan manusia. Selain digunakan sebagai komoditas food and beverage. Kopi juga dapat digunakan untuk produk kesehatan dan kosmetik. Tren terhadap kebutuhan kesehatan dan kosmetik dapat menjadikan peluang usaha inovasi produk berbahan dasar kopi. Salah satu produknya adalah body scrub. Bubuk kopi pada body scrub berfungsi sebagai butiran halus scrub guna membersihkan sel kulit mati.
Body scrub merupakan salah satu opsi treatment yang baik untuk merawat kulit. Cara ini dapat membersihkan sel - sel kulit mati. Sehingga kulit terlihat lebih cerah dan menjadi lembut juga halus. Body scrub dengan inovasi baru tentu menjadi sesuatu yang menarik dan merupakan sebuah kesempatan bisnis yang baik apabila dikembangkan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan terlebih dahulu analisis kelayakan usaha terkait produk tersebut.
Pada Tugas Akhir Produk Inovatif ini penulis dan tim membuat body scrub dengan inovasi menggunakan campuran hi-grade patchouli oil. Pada perdagangan internasional patchouli oil memiliki harga yang mahal karena fungsi dan manfaat yang dikandungnya. Pengaruh penambahan minyak nilam atau patchouli oil sebagai fikastif terhadap stabilitas aroma pada produk sehingga aroma menjadi lebih tahan lama.
Secret Nilam Body Scrub merupakan produk Tugas Akhir Inovatif yang penulis dan tim hasilkan melalui kegiatan magang pada Pusat Riset Center (ARC) dan Koperasi Inovac (Inovasi Minyak Nilam Aceh). Koperasi Inovac memberikan ilmu terkait penyulingan tanaman nilam mulai dari minyak mentah hingga diolah menjadi patchouli oil hi-grade. Proses tersebut dinamakan fraksinasi dimana minyak mentah dipisahkan dari senyawa zat lain yang berbahaya bagi kulit. Proses fraksinasi ini dapat menghasilkan 2 fraksi yaitu berat dan ringan. Hasil ini ialah patchouli oil dengan kualitas tinggi. Patchouli oil inilah yang menjadi inovasi pada produk Secret Nilam Body Scrub.
Analisis kelayakan usaha produk Secret Nilam Body Scrub bertujuan untuk melihat peluang dan prospek usaha yang menguntungkan. Proses ini dilakukan dengan menganalisa struktur biaya dan perhitungan kelayakan usahanya. Hasilnya diperoleh bahwa Secret Nilam Body Scrub layak secara finansial untuk diproduksi dengan tingkat pengembalian modal BEP produk 11-unit dan BEP harga Rp 365.981,00.
Penggunaan kopi pada Tugas Akhir ini ialah sebagai bahan dasar produk body scrub yaitu berfungsi sebagai scrub atau butiran halus yang dapat membersihkan sel-sel kulit mati sehingga mencerahkan kulit. Kopi yang digunakan merupakan produk kopi arabica siap saji atau kopi kemasan 100gram.

SUMMARY Coffee has many functions for human life. Apart from being used as a food and beverage commodity. Coffee can also be used for health and cosmetic products. Trends towards health and cosmetic needs can create business opportunities for coffee-based product innovation. One of the products is a body scrub. The coffee grounds in the body scrub function as fine granules of the scrub to clean dead skin cells. Body scrub is one of the best treatment options for treating the skin. This method can clean dead skin cells. So, the skin looks brighter and becomes softer and smoother. Body scrubs with new innovations are certainly something interesting and a good business opportunity if they are developed. For this reason, it is necessary to first carry out a business feasibility analysis related to the product. In this Innovative Product Final Project, the author and team make a body scrub with innovation using a mixture of hi-grade patchouli oil. In international trade, patchouli oil has a high price because of the functions and benefits it contains. The effect of adding patchouli oil or patchouli oil as a fixative on the stability of the aroma in the product so that the aroma becomes more durable. Secret Patchouli Body Scrub is an Innovative Final Project product that the author and team produced through internships at the Research Center (ARC) and the Inovac Cooperative (Aceh Patchouli Oil Innovation). The Inovac Cooperative provides knowledge related to refining patchouli from crude oil to processing it into hi-grade patchouli oil. The process is called fractionation where crude oil is separated from other compounds that are harmful to the skin. This fractionation process can produce 2 fractions, namely heavy and light. This result is a high-quality patchouli oil. This patchouli oil is an innovation in the Secret Patchouli Body Scrub product. The business feasibility analysis of Secret Patchouli Body Scrub aims to see profitable business opportunities and prospects. This process is carried out by analyzing the cost structure and calculating the feasibility of the business. The result is that Secret Nilam Body Scrub is financially feasible to produce with a BEP rate of return on a 11-unit product and a BEP price of IDR Rp 365.981,00. The use of coffee in this Final Project is as a basic ingredient for body scrub products which functions as a scrub or fine granules that can clean dead skin cells thereby brightening the skin. The coffee used is Arabica coffee product or 100 gram packaged coffee.
