Kajian iktiofauna Sungai Lokop Kawasan Ekosistem Leuser, Kecamatan Serbajadi, Kabupaten Aceh Timur, Provinsi Aceh bertujuan untuk menghitung komposisi spesies, tingkat keanekaragaman, keseragaman, kekayaan spesies, dominansi, kesamaan spesies, pola distribusi, pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling pada tempat-tempat yang diduga memiliki keberadaan ikan yang tinggi mudah dijangkau dan mewakili area Sungai Lokop. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni 2022 hingga Januari 2023. Total keseluruhan ikan yang diperoleh sebanyak 315 individu dari 17 spesies yang tergolong ke dalam delapan famili yaitu, Cyprinidae, Megalopidae, Mastacembelidae, Siluridae, Claridae, Bagridae, Channidae dan Eleotridae. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-wiener (H’) sebesar 2,39 yang tergolong sedang, indeks keseragaman sebesar 0,84 keseragaman tinggi, indeks dominansi 0,11 tergolong dominansi rendah dan indeks kekayaan spesies 2,78 tergolong kekayaan spesies rendah. Nilai indeks kesamaan antar stasiun (IS) berkisar 40-89% yang tergolong tinggi (IS > 50%). Pola distribusi ikan yaitu mengelompok sebanyak 16 spesies (94%) dan tidak terdeteksi 1 spesies (6%). Pola pertumbuhan ikan di Sungai Lokop bersifat allometrik negatif untuk tiga spesies ikan yang paling dominan ditemukan dengan nilai faktor kondisi berkisar antara 0,98 hingga 1,02.

The ichthyofauna study of the Lokop river in the Leuser Ecosystem Area, Serbajadi District, East Aceh Regency, Aceh Province aims to calculate species composition, diversity index, uniformity, species richness, dominance, species similarity, distribution patterns, growth patterns and condition factors. The method used was a purposive sampling method in places that are suspected of having a high presence of fish that are easy to reach and represent the Lokop river area. This research was conducted from June 2022 to January 2023. The total number of fish obtained was 315 individuals from 17 species belonging to eight families, namely, Cyprinidae, Megalopidae, Mastacembelidae, Siluridae, Claridae, Bagridae, Channidae and Eleotridae. The Shannon-wiener (H’) diversity index value was 2,39 which was classified as medium, the uniformity index was 0,84 it was high uniformity, the dominance index was 0,11 which was classified as low dominance and the species richness index was 2,78 which was classified as low richness. The similarity index value between stations (IS) ranges from 40-89% which is high (IS > 50%). The distribution pattern of fish is that there are 16 species (94%) in clusters and 1 species (6%) is not detected. The fish growth pattern in the Lokop River was negative allometric for the three most dominant fish species found with condition factor values ranging from 0,98 to 1,02.
