Olahraga petanque ini merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga baru yang dimainkan dengan menggunakan bola bosi yang dilempar mendekati jack (bola kayu) bosi yang paling dekat dengan jack akan mendapatkan poin satu namun sebaliknya bosi yang dekat dengan jack tersebut boleh dijauhkan dengan cara menembak dengan bosi lawan / Shooting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Atlet binaan pengprov FOPI Aceh tahun 2022 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang yang diperoleh melalui teknik total sampling. Teknik pengambilan data adalah sebagai berikut: (1) tes konsentrasi dengan menggunakan tes grip concentration, (2) tes kemampuan Shooting jarak 6,7,8, dan 9 meter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data tes konsentrasi dengan kemampuan Shooting atlet binaan pengprov FOPI aceh tahun 2022 terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara hubungan konsentrasi dengan kemampuan Shooting atlet binaan pengprov FOPI aceh tahun 2022. (r+0,67) konsentrasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,89% (0,4489 x 100%) dengan kemampuan Shooting atlet binaan pengprov FOPI aceh, sehingga 55,11% ditentukan oleh faktor lainnya seperti percaya diri, motivasi, dan kecemasan

ABSTRACT Hendri Firnanda (2022). The Relationship between Concentration and the Shooting Ability of Athletes Assisted by the Aceh FOPI Pengprov in 2022. This petanque sport is one of the new sports that is played using a bosi ball which is thrown close to the jack (wooden ball) the bosi closest to the jack will get one point but conversely the bosi that is close to the jack may be kept away by shooting with the opponent's bosi / Shooting. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The population in this study were 25 athletes assisted by FOPI Aceh Province in 2022, totaling 25 people. The number of samples in this study were 25 people obtained through total sampling technique. The data collection techniques were as follows: (1) concentration test using the grip concentration test, (2) shooting ability test at distances of 6,7,8 and 9 meters. Based on the results of research and processing of concentration test data with the Shooting ability of athletes assisted by FOPI Aceh province in 2022, there is a significant correlation between the relationship between concentration and the Shooting ability of athletes assisted by FOPI Aceh Province in 2022. (r + 0.67) concentration contributed 44.89 % (0.4489 x 100%) with the Shooting ability of athletes fostered by FOPI aceh officials, so 55.11% is determined by other factors such as self-confidence, motivation, and anxiety Keywords: Concentration, Shooting Ability
