World Health Organization melaporkan pada tahun 2019 penderita asma di dunia mencapai 262 juta orang dan terdapat 461.000 kematian akibat asma. Tingkat kontrol asma dipengaruhi oleh usia, jenis kelamin, IMT, dan penggunaan obat asma. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kontrol pasien asma di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin pada era pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif retrospektif dengan menggunakan data rekam medis. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian sebanyak 35 pasien. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan pasien asma terbanyak pada kelompok usia 17-25 tahun dan 46-58 tahun, jenis kelamin perempuan, dan IMT normal. Obat asma terbanyak digunakan yaitu budesonide sebagai controller dan salbutamol sebagai reliever serta kombinasi obat terbanyak digunakan yaitu budesonide dengan salbutamol. Tingkat kontrol asma terbanyak ditemukan pada kelompok asma tidak terkontrol (62,9%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat kontrol pasien asma di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin pada era pandemi COVID-19 rendah.

World Health Organization reported that in 2019 asthmatics worldwide reached 262 million people and there were 461.000 deaths because of asthma. The level of asthma control is determined by age, sex, BMI, and asthma drugs use. This study aimed to know the level control of asthma patients at Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a retrospective descriptive study used medical record data. The sampling used total sampling technic with the sample in this study amounted to 35 patients who were selected according to the research criteria. The results of this study showed that most of asthma patients in the age group of 17-25 years and 46-58 years, female sex, and BMI normal. The most used asthma drug was budesonide as controller and salbutamol as reliever and the most used drug combination was budesonide with salbutamol. The highest level of asthma control found in the uncontrolled asthma (62,9%). The conclusion in this study is the level control of asthma patients at Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is poor. Keywords: Level of asthma control, age, sex, BMI, asthma drugs
