Lupus eritematosus sistemik (LES) merupakan penyakit autoimun yang berpotensi mengakibatkan gangguan kualitas hidup anak, baik karena aktivitas penyakitnya maupun pengobatannya yang bersifat jangka panjang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lama sakit dengan kualitas hidup pada anak LES di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan pasien LES di Poliklinik Anak RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh sebanyak 34 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Kuesioner pada penelitian ini menggunakan PedsQL 3.0 Rheumatology Module untuk mengukur kualitas hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak yang menderita LES dengan lama sakit ≤ 5 tahun memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik yaitu sebanyak 21 orang (67,6%) dan anak yang menderita LES > 5 tahun juga memiliki kualitas hidup yang baik yaitu sebanyak 2 orang (100%). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman pada CI 95% dan α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan lama sakit dengan kualitas hidup pada anak LES di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh menghasilkan p value = 0,328 dan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,173. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan antara lama sakit dengan kualitas hidup pada anak LES di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that has the potential to interfere with children's quality of life, both due to disease activity and long-term treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between length of illness and quality of life in children with SLE at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. This type of research is an observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. The subjects in this study were SLE patients at the Children's Polyclinic at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh as many as 34 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The questionnaire in this study uses the PedsQL 3.0 Rheumatology Module to measure quality of life. The results showed that 21 children with SLE with duration of illness ≤ 5 years had a good quality of life (67.6%) and 2 children who had SLE > 5 years also had a good quality of life (100%). The results of the Spearman correlation test at 95% CI and α = 0.05 showed that the relationship between length of illness and quality of life in children with SLE at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh resulted a p value = 0.328 and a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.173. The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between length of illness and quality of life in children with SLE at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh.
