End of life akan membantu pasien meninggal dengan bermartabat. Pelayanan yang diberikan perawat pada pasien end of life dapat terlihat dari sikap perawat. Namun, banyak hal yang di hadapi perawat dalammenghadapi pasien end of life, hal yang sering dialami ketika perawat melakukan tindakan keperawatan end of life adalah tekanan mental. Selain itu, perawat juga akan mengalami perasaan tidak nyaman Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi sikap perawat terhadap end of life di Intensive Care Unit RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain descriptive survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat yang bertugas 7 ruang intensive RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 166 perawat. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 119 perawat. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner Frommelt Attitude Toward Careof the Dying Scale (FATCOD) form A. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 95 (85,6%) perawat memiliki sikap positif dan 16 (14,4 %) perawat memiliki sikap negatif dalam menghadapi pasien end of life. Direkomendasikan kepada perawat untuk dapat mempertahankan sikap positif yang telah diterapkan

End of life will help patients die with dignity. The services provided by nurses to end of life patients can be seen from the nurses' concern and seen from the nurses' attitudes. However, many things are faced by nurses in dealing with end of life patients, the thing that is often experienced when nurses carry out end of life nursing actions is mental pressure. In addition, nurses will also experience feelings of discomfort. The purpose of this study was to identify nurses' attitudes towards end of life in the Intensive Care Unit of dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh. The type of the research was quantitative research with a descriptive survey design. The population in this study were nurses assigned 7 intensive care units in dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh, totaling 166 nurses. The sample in this study amounted to 119 nurses. Sampling in this study was carried out using consecutive sampling techniques. The data collection used in this study was the Frommelt Attitude Toward Careof the Dying Scale (FATCOD) questionnaire form A. The results of this study showed that 107 (96.4%) nurses had a positive attitude and 4 (3.6%) nurses had a negative attitude towards end-of-life patient. It is recommended for nurses to have capability to maintain positive attitudes that have been applied.
