Ekowisata hutan mangrove di Aceh Jaya sudah dikembangkan sejak tahun 2017 hingga
saat ini masih dikembangkan dengan luas mencapai sekitar 300 hektar. Pengembangan
Kawasan ekowisata juga dilakukan dengan meningkatkan koleksi tanaman mangrove
secara bertahap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis mangrove yang
terdapat di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Aceh Jaya dan untuk mengetahui indeks
keanekaragaman jenis mangrove yang terdapat di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Aceh
Jaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Juni sampai Desember 2022. Penentuan lokasi
penelitian dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling, pengamatan vegetasi mangrove
dilakukan dengan metode transek garis berpetak (line transect plot). Hasil penelitian
menunjukan mangrove yang ditemukan di kawasan ekowisata terdapat 6 spesies dari 3
famili yaitu: Rhizophoraceae (Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora
apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza), Pinaceae (Casuarina equisetifolia ) dan Verbenaceae
(Avicennia marina). Faktor lingkungan suhu tanah terendah pada stasiun 3 yaitu 30ºC dan
suhu tertinggi pada stasiun 1 yaitu 28ºC. Nilai suhu air terendah pada stasiun 3 yaitu 28ºC
dan suhu tertinggi pada stasiun stasiun 1 yaitu 31,3ºC. Nilai salinitas berkisar antara 28,3-
29,5o
/o. Nilai pH tanah berkisar 6,58,1. Nilai pH air berkisar antara 6-6,9 dan
kelembapan udara 61,9%94,2%. INP tertinggi kategori pohon adalah R. mucronata
yaitu stasiun 1 persentase 111,712, persentase 127,382 (stasiun 2) dan 123,653 (stasiun
3). INP tertinggi kategori pancang adalah R. stylosa yaitu persentase 61,665 (stasiun 1)
dan 89,430 (stasiun 2) sedangkan stasiun 3 R. mucronata persentase 80,380. INP tertinggi
pada kategori semai adalah R. stylosa persentase 80,598 (stasiun 1) dan 103,492 (stasiun
2) sedangkan stasiun 3 R. mucronata persentase 86,168. Indeks keanekaragaman
mangrove di kawasan ekowisata diperoleh nilai berkisar antara 0,954–1,419 termasuk
keanekaragaman sedang. Nilai indeks keseragaman mangrove di kawasan ekowisata
berkisar antara 0,559- 0,896 termasuk komunitas labil hingga stabil. Indeks similaritas
antara stasiun 1 dan 2, diperoleh 66,6% stasiun 1 dan 3, diperoleh 66,6% dan stasiun 2
dan 3, diperoleh 100%.

Ecotourism of mangrove forests in Aceh Jaya has been developed since 2017 until now it is still being developed with an area of around 300 hectares. The development of ecotourism areas is also carried out by gradually increasing the collection of mangrove plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of mangroves found in the Aceh Jaya Mangrove Ecotourism Area and to determine the diversity index of mangrove species found in the Aceh Jaya Mangrove Ecotourism Area. This research was conducted from June to November 2022. The determination of the location of the study was carried out using the purposive sampling method, the observation of mangrove vegetation was carried out by the line transect plot method. The results showed that mangroves found in ecotourism areas contained 6 species from 3 families, namely: Rhizophoraceae (Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza), Pinaceae (Casuarina equisetifolia ) and (Verbenaceae) (Avicennia marina). The environmental factor of the lowest ground temperature at station 3 is 30ºC and the highest temperature at station 1 is 28ºC. The lowest water temperature value at station 3 is 28ºC and the highest temperature at station 1 is 31.3ºC. Salinity values range from 28.3-29.5o/o. The soil pH value ranges from 6.5-8.1. The pH value of water ranges from 6-6.9 and air humidity 61.9%-94.2%. The highest INP tree category is R. mucronata i.e. station 1 percentage 111,712, percentage 127,382 (station 2) and 123,653 (station 3). The highest INP of the stake category is R. stylosa which is a percentage of 61,665 (station 1) and 89,430 (station 2) while station 3 of R. mucronata is a percentage of 80,380. The highest INP in the seedling category was R. stylosa percentage 80,598 (station 1) and 103,492 (station 2) while station 3 R. mucronata percentage 86,168. The mangrove diversity index in ecotourism areas obtained values ranging from 0.954–1.419 including moderate diversity. The value of the mangrove uniformity index in ecotourism areas ranges from 0.559-0.896 including unstable to stable communities. The similiritas index between stations 1 and 2, obtained 66.6% of stations 1 and 3, obtained 66.6% and stations 2 and 3, obtained 100%.
