Prarancangan pabrik Natrium Nitrat menggunakan bahan baku natrium hidroksida dan asam nitrat. Natrium hidroksida diperoleh dari PT. Asahimas Chemical, sementara itu asam nitrat diperoleh dari PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia. Pabrik ini beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun dengan kapasitas produksi 18.000 ton/tahun. Perseroan Terbatas (PT) adalah bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan dengan menggunakan struktur garis dan staf. Kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 93 orang. Lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di Jl. Raya Anyer-Sirih, Kecamatan Ciwandan, Kota Cilegon dengan luas tanah 17.962 m2. Kebutuhan air untuk pabrik ini sebesar 22.334,15 kg/jam yang diperoleh dari sungai Cidanau. Sumber listrik diperoleh dari Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) dan generator dengan daya 890,053 kW.
Hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 187.314.121.696,-
2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 46.828.530.424,-
3. Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 234.142.652.120,-
4. Total Production Cost (TPC) = Rp. 352.119.208.255,-
5. Sales Cost (SC) = Rp. 447.352.448.024,-
6. Laba Bersih = Rp. 71.424.929.827,-
7. Pay Out Time (POT) = 5 tahun 3 bulan
8. Break Event Point (BEP) = 37,1 %
9. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 25,9 %
Sodium Nitrate plant design uses sodium hydroxide and nitric acid as raw materials. Sodium hydroxide was obtained from PT. Asahimas Chemical, meanwhile nitric acid was obtained from PT. Multi Nitrotama Kimia. This factory operates for 330 days/year with a production capacity of 18,000 tons/year. Limited Liability Company (PT) is a company that is planned using a line and staff structure. The number of workers in this factory is 93 people. The location of the plant is planned to be established in Ciwandan District, Cilegon City, Banten with a land area of 17.962 m2. The water requirement for this factory is 22.334,15 kg/hour, which is obtained from the Cidanau river. The amount of electricity is obtained from the State Electricity Company (PLN) and a generator with 890,053 kW power. The result of the economic analysis obtained are as follows: 1.
