ABSTRAK
Situs arkeologi Cot Sidi Abdullah merupakan salah satu peninggalan kerajaan Samudera Pasai. Lokasi situs terletak di Desa Kuta Krueng, Kecamatan Samudera, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode magnetik yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sebaran anomali medan magnetik total serta mendapatkan gambaran struktur bangunan yang tertimbun dibawah permukaan tanah berdasarkan respon anomali medan magnetik total yang terukur di situs arkeologi Cot Sidi Abdullah. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan 2 buat alat Proton Precession Magnetometer (PPM) dengan jarak lintasan dan titik pengukuran masing-masing 1 meter serta jumlah titik pengukuran sebanyak 1602 titik dari 42 lintasan. Hasil pengukuran berupa data medan magnet magnetik total yang kemudian dikoreksi menggunakan koreksi harian dan koreksi IGRF. Metode transformasi yang digunakan untuk memudahkan interpretasi adalah kontinuasi ke atas (upward continuation) dan sinyal analitik. Proses filter kontinuasi ke atas (upward continuation) bertujuan untuk mengurangi anomali regional dan mempertajam anomali residual sedangkan sinyal analitik bertujuan untuk memperjelas bentuk struktur di bawah permukaan. Metode sinyal analitik mampu mengindentifikasi adanya pola anomali berbentuk persegi panjang dan pola anomali berbentuk memanjang serta mampu mengidentifikasi sebaran struktur bangunan yang berada di lokasi situs arkeologi Cot Sidi Abdullah. Pola berbentuk persegi panjang diduga merupakan bangunan situs arkeologi Cot Sidi Abdullah yang terkubur di bawah permukaan tanah serta pola memanjang yang diduga merupakan struktur lain yang belum dapat diidentifikasi. Namun demikian penerapan metode geofisika lain dan eskavasi perlu diterapkan untuk memvalidasi hasil pada penelitian ini.

ABSTRACT The archaeological site of Cot Sidi Abdullah is one of the relics of the Samudera Pasai kingdom. The site is located in Kuta Krueng Village, Samudera District, North Aceh Regency. This research applies a method that aims to spread the total terrain anomaly and to get an overview of the structure of the building buried under the ground surface based on the response of the total type of terrain anomaly measured at the Cot Sidi Abdullah archaeological site. Measurements were carried out using 2 for the Proton Precession Magnetometer (PPM) with a track distance and a measurement point of 1 meter each and a total of 1602 points of measurement from 42 tracks. The measurement results are in the form of total magnetic field data which are then corrected using diurnal corrections and IGRF corrections. The transformation me-thods used to facilitate interpretation are upward continuation and analytic signals. The upward continuation aims to reduce regional anomalies and sharpen residual anomalies while signal analytic aims to clear up the shape below the surface. The analytical signal method is able to identify the rectangular anomalous pattern and the elongated anomalous pattern and is able to identify the distribution of building structures located at the Cot Sidi Abdullah archaeological site. The rectangular pattern represents the Cot Sidi Abdullah archaeological site buried below the ground surface and the elongated pattern is another structure that has not been identified. However, the application of other geophysical methods and excavations needs to be applied to validate the results in this study.
