Desa Lhok Pawoh merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kecamatan Manggeng, sebahagian masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Bagian utama bagan terdiri atas jaring bagan apung dan alat bantu berupa cahaya (lampu). Pengoperasiannya dilakukan dengan cara menurunkan jaring, selanjutnya diterangi oleh cahaya. Ikan-ikan yang bersifat fototaksis positif akan datang dan berkumpul di atas jaring di dalam areal cahaya. Jika diperkirakan jumlah ikan cukup banyak, maka jaring diangkat. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan bagan apung berdasarkan perbedaan waktu penangkapan dan mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan waktu penangkapan terhadap hasil tangkapan bagan apung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Agustus sampai September 2022 di perairan Lhok Pawoh Kecamatan Manggeng Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode experimental fishing dengan melakukan kegiatan operasi penangkapan langsung di lapangan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan 6 unit bagan apung dengan pengulangan 3 hari operasi penangkapan dalam satu unit bagan apung sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil tangkapan sebelum jam 12 malam dan sesudah jam 12 malam. Pengaruh perbedaan waktu penangkapan terhadap hasil tangkapan bagan apung dianalisis menggunakan tabel sidik ragam (ANOVA) pada Microsoft Excel, dengan hasil F-hitung (2,70) > F-tabel (2,26) pada α 5% menyimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan diterima H1 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dari seluruh perlakuan perbedaan waktu penangkapan terhadap hasil tangkapan bagan apung. Hasil tangkapan berdasarkan waktu penangkapan sebelum jam 12 dan sesudah jam 12 malam dapat dibedakan berat hasil tangkapan bahwa hasil tangkapan sesudah jam 12 malam lebih besar dengan total berat 2033,9 di bandingkan hasil tangkapan sebelum jam 12 malam dengan total berat 1154.

Lhok Pawoh Village is one of the villages in Manggeng Subdistrict, where a part of the community works as fishermen. The main part of the netting consists of a floating netting net and an auxiliary tool in the form of a light (lamp). The operation is carried out by lowering the net, then illuminated by light. Fish that are positively phototactic will come and gather on the net in the light area. If it is estimated that the number of fish is quite a lot, then the net is removed. the purpose of this study was to determine the composition of the catches of floating netbags based on differences in fishing time and to determine the effect of differences in fishing time on catches of floating netbags. This research was conducted from August to September 2022 in the waters of Lhok Pawoh, Manggeng District, Southwest Aceh Regency. The method used is the experimental fishing method by carrying out direct fishing operations in the field. In this study, 6 units of floating nets were used with a repetition of 3 days of fishing operations in one unit of floating nets as the research sample. The results showed that there were differences between the catches before 12 at night and after 12 at night. The effect of differences in fishing time on floating chart catches was analyzed using tables of variance (ANOVA) in Microsoft Excel, with the results of F-count (2.70) > F-table (2.26) at α 5% concluding that H0 is rejected and accepted H1, which means that there is a significant difference from all treatments, differences in catching time to the catch of floating nets. The catch based on the fishing time before 12 o'clock and after 12 o'clock at night can be distinguished by the weight of the catch that the catch after 12 o'clock is larger with a total weight of 2033.9 compared to the catch before 12 at night with a total weight of 1154.
