ABSTRAK
Selama pandemi Covid-19, pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan agar sekolah meminta siswanya untuk belajar di rumah. Hal ini membuat anak umur 7-9 tahun menjadi peringkat pertama dalam media sosial yang digunakan dan Youtube menjadi platform paling populer yang digunakan oleh anak . Ini menandakan bahwa selama pandemi Covid-19, mengakses media sosial menjadi kebutuhan bagi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan intensitas akses Youtube terhadap kualitas interaksi sosial anak SD pada SDIT Nurul Ishlah. Menggunakan teori ketergantungan media sebagai landasan dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis 151 data menggunakan IBM SPSS 25 melalui Uji Korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa intensitas akses Youtube (X) memiliki hubungan terhadap kualitas interaksi sosial (Y) dengan perolehan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,304 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Pada skor koefisien korelasi berada di tingkat positif yang sedang. Hubungan positif yang sedang memiliki arti bahwa hubungan antara variabel X dan Variabel Y berada di tingkat yang sedang. Dimana anak menggunakan media sebagai hiburan dan hobi. Tingkatan akses Youtube pada anak dapat menjadikan anak memiliki rasa kebutuhan media semakin besar serta anak mampu mengakses Youtube dengan mudah. Pada akhirnya akan mempengaruhi kualitas interaksi sosial anak.

ABSTRACT During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government issued a policy so that schools asked their students to study at home. This makes children aged 7-9 years ranked first in the social media used and YouTube is the most popular platform used by children. This indicates that during the Covid-19 pandemic, accessing social media has become a necessity for children. This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of YouTube access and the quality of social interaction among elementary school children at SDIT Nurul Ishlah. Using media dependency theory as a basis by using a questionnaire as a data collection technique. The results of the analysis of 151 data using IBM SPSS 25 through the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Test. The results show that the intensity of Youtube access (X) has a relationship to the quality of social interaction (Y) with the acquisition of a correlation coefficient of 0.304 with a significance of 0.000. On the correlation score the correlation is at a moderate positive level. A moderate positive relationship means that the relationship between variable X and variable Y is at a moderate level. Where children use media as entertainment and hobbies. The level of YouTube access in children can make children have a greater sense of media needs and children are able to access Youtube easily. In the end it will affect the quality of children's social interactions. There fore there is no possibility that the medium level can go to a low or high level.
