Angka insidensi dan mortalitas kanker kolorektal menduduki peringkat ketiga dan kedua dari seluruh jenis kanker secara global berdasarkan data dari Globocan tahun 2020. Hal ini disebabkan karena kanker kolorektal sering tidak menimbulkan gejala pada tahap awal, penderita sering datang ke rumah sakit ketika sudah mulai terasa gejala sehingga sering terlambat didiagnosis serta terdiagnosis pada late stage dan dapat memperburuk prognosis. Gejala yang dikeluhkan pasien pertama kali merupakan keluhan utama yang dapat diperoleh dari proses anamnesis. Gejala yang muncul pada penderita kanker kolorektal cenderung tergantung dengan lokasi tumor primernya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara lokasi tumor dengan keluhan utama pasien kanker kolorektal RSUDZA Banda Aceh dan diharapkan dapat menjadi tambahan ilmu untuk klinisi dalam melakukan pendekatan diagnosis dan tatalaksana lebih cepat pada pasien. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional menggunakan data sekunder berupa rekam medis tahun 2019-2022 dengan jumlah sampel 163. Analisis statistik menggunakan koefisien kontingensi C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 98(58%) pasien merupakan kelompok usia ≥ 50 tahun, 82(50,3%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki, 99(60,73%) tumor ditemukan di rektum, dan 61(37,4%) pasien mengeluhkan perdarahan rektal. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien kontingensi C didapatkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang bermakna dengan korelasi sedang antara lokasi tumor dengan keluhan utama pasien kanker kolorektal RSUDZA Banda Aceh dengan p-value = 0,000 dan r = 0,480.

Incidence and mortality rates for colorectal cancer are ranked as the third and the second for all types of cancer globally based on data from Globocan in 2020. Colorectal cancer often does not cause symptoms in the early stages, patients often come to hospital when they start to feel symptoms so they are often diagnosed late and diagnosed at a late stage which can worsen the prognosis. The first symptoms complained by the patients are chief complaints that can be obtained from the anamnesis. Symptoms that appear in colorectal cancer patients tend to depend on the location of the primary tumor. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between tumor location and chief complaints of colorectal cancer RSUDZA Banda Aceh patients with the hope that can become additional knowledge for clinicians in making a faster approach to diagnosis and treatment. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design using secondary data in the form of medical records for 2019-2022 with a total of 163 samples. The statistical analysis used was the contingency coefficient C. The results showed that 98(58%) of patients are in the age group ≥ 50 years, 82(50.3%) were male, 99(60.73%) had tumors in the rectum, and 61(37.4%) patients complained of rectal bleeding. There was a significant relationship with a moderate correlation between tumor location and chief complaints of colorectal cancer patients at RSUDZA Banda Aceh with a value of p = 0.000 and r = 0.480.
