Kemoterapi pada pasien kanker tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek fisik tetapi juga pada aspek psikologis. Pasien yang menjalani prosedur kemoterapi sangat beresiko mengalami peningkatan stres dan depresi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat stres dan depresi pada pasien kanker paru yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien kanker paru yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUD Zainoel Abidin dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode total sampling dalam periode bulan Oktober sampai November 2022. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner DASS-21 versi Indonesia. Analisis statistik dengan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angka stres pasien kanker paru yang menjalani kemoterapi di RSUDZA Banda Aceh adalah tinggi (89%) dan angka untuk kasus depresi juga tergolong tinggi (90,3%).
Chemotherapy in cancer patients does not only have an impact on physical aspects but also on psychological aspects. Patients undergoing chemotherapy procedures are at high risk of experiencing increased stress and depression. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of stress and depression in lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Zainoel Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at Zainoel Abidin Hospital. The sampling technique used the total sampling method from October to November 2022. The instrument used was the Indonesian version of the DASS-21 questionnaire. Statistical analysis with univariate analysis. The results showed that the stress rate of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at RSUDZA Banda Aceh was high (89%) and the rate for cases of depression was also relatively high (90.3%).
