Polip nasi merupakan penyakit inflamasi atau peradangan kronis yang umum terjadi pada mukosa hidung. Polip nasi ditandai dengan lesi jinak yang muncul dari mukosa rongga sinus. Salah satu faktor predisposisi terjadinya polip nasi yaitu rinitis alergi. Rinitis Alergi merupakan penyakit inflamasi yang dimediasi oleh IgE pada mukosa hidung, yang dipicu oleh paparan alergen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik penderita polip nasi dengan penyerta rinitis alergi di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh pada tanggal 1 Januari 2018 sampai Juli 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif retrospektif dengan pengambilan data sekunder berupa rekam medis pasien. Data rekam medis tersebut dilakukan pencarian dengan menggunakan kode ICD X yaitu J33 sebagai kode dari penyakit polip nasi dan J30 sebagai kode dari penyakit rinitis alergi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 68 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi pasien polip nasi dengan penyerta rinitis alergi tertinggi pada kelompok usia 36-45 tahun (25%) dan jenis kelamin laki-laki (51%). Berdasarkan pekerjaan, pasien polip nasi dengan penyerta rinitis alergi paling sering ditemukan pada pekerjaan wiraswasta (24%). Penderita polip nasi dengan penyerta rinitis alergi paling banyak berasal dari Kota Banda Aceh (32%) dan paling banyak mendapatkan pelayanan rawat jalan (79%).

Nasal polyps are chronic inflammatory or inflammatory diseases that commonly occur in the nasal mucosa. Nasal polyps are characterized by benign lesions arising from the mucosa of the sinus cavities. One of the predisposing factors for the occurrence of nasal polyps is allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis is an IgE-mediated inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa, which is triggered by allergen exposure. This study aims to determine the characteristics of patients with nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis at the Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh from January 1 2018 to July 2022. This study used a retrospective descriptive research design with secondary data collection in the form of patient medical records. The medical record data was searched using the ICD X code, namely J33 as the code for nasal polyps and J30 as the code for allergic rhinitis. The sampling technique in this study used the total sampling method with a total sample of 68 people. The results of this study indicated that the highest distribution of patients with nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis was in the age group of 36-45 years (25%) and male (51%). Based on occupation, patients with nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis are most often found in self-employed jobs (24%). Most patients with nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis came from Banda Aceh (32%) and most received outpatient services (79%). Key word : Nasal polyps, Allergic rhinitis, Patien characteristic
