Sebagian besar siswa mengalami permasalahan dalam menerima materi pembelajaran matematika yang disampaikan oleh guru. Hal ini salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh gaya belajar. Gaya belajar merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang menjelaskan mengenai bagaimana individu belajar atau cara yang ditempuh oleh masing-masing orang untuk berkonsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMPN 8 Banda Aceh. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas IX SMPN 8 Banda Aceh, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas IX-2 SMPN 8 Banda Aceh yang terdiri 27 siswa. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket gaya belajar dan tes. Angket gaya belajar digunakan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa, sedangkan tes digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis korelasi sederhana, analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMPN 8 Banda Aceh. Besar pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa didapatkan sebesar 96,2%.

Most students have problems receiving mathematics learning materials delivered by teachers. One of them is influenced by learning styles. Learning style is an approach that explains how individuals learn or the way each person takes to concentrate. This study aims to determine the influence of learning styles on student mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 8 Banda Aceh. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, while the type of correlational research. The population in this study was grade IX students of SMPN 8 Banda Aceh, while the sample in this study was class IX-2 students of SMPN 8 Banda Aceh consisting of 27 students. The data in this study used learning style questionnaires and tests. The learning style questionnaire is used to find out the tendencies of the learning style owned by students, while the test is used to find out the results of students' mathematics learning. Data analysis techniques are used, namely descriptive statistical analysis, simple correlation analysis, simple regression analysis. The results of this study show that there is an influence of learning styles on student mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 8 Banda Aceh. The magnitude of the influence of learning styles on student mathematics learning outcomes was obtained by 96.2%. Keywords: Learning styles, Mathematics learning outcomes
