RINGKASAN

Kopi memiliki banyak fungsi bagi kehidupan manusia. Selain digunakan sebagai komoditas food and beverage. Kopi juga dapat digunakan untuk produk kesehatan dan kosmetik. Tren terhadap kebutuhan kesehatan dan kosmetik dapat menjadikan peluang usaha inovasi produk berbahan dasar kopi. Salah satu produknya adalah body scrub. Bubuk kopi pada body scrub berfungsi sebagai butiran halus scrub guna membersihkan sel kulit mati.
Body scrub merupakan salah satu opsi treatment yang baik untuk merawat kulit. Cara ini dapat membersihkan sel - sel kulit mati. Sehingga kulit terlihat lebih cerah dan menjadi lembut juga halus. Body scrub dengan inovasi baru tentu hal utama yang menarik perhatian adalah kandungannya yang dapat mencerahkan kulit dan kualitas mutu produk yang menjadi prioritasnya yang memenuhi standar Cara Pembuatan Kosmetik yang Baik (CPKB).
Mutu suatu produk adalah keadaan fisik, fungsi dan sifat suatu produk bersangkutan yang dapat memenuhi selera dan kebutuhan konsumen dengan memuaskan sesuai nilai uang yang telah dikeluarkan. Body scrub merupakan salah satu bentuk perawatan tubuh bertujuan mengangkat sel kulit mati, kotoran, dan membuka pori-pori sehingga pertukaran udara bebas dan kulit menjadi lebih cerah dan putih. Dengan memakai body scrub, tubuh akan memiliki kulit yang bersih, sehat dan terawat. Berbagai macam bahan termasuk herbal telah dikembangkan sebagai bahan utama dari body scrub.
Kualitas mutu pada produk “Secret Nilam” bertujuan untuk melakukan modifikasi formula body scrub berbasis bahan dasar baku kopi sehingga terbentuk produk yang stabil, nyaman dan sehat untuk diaplikasikan pada tubuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mendapat mutu produk yang aman harus memenuhi standar prosedur CPKB.

SUMMARY Coffee has many functions for human life. Besides being used as a food and beverage commodity. Coffee can also be used for health products and cosmetics. Trends in health and cosmetic needs can create business opportunities for coffee-based product innovation. One of the products is a body scrub. The coffee grounds in the body scrub function as fine granules of the scrub to clean dead skin cells. Body scrub is a good treatment option for treating skin. This method can clean the dead skin cells. So that the skin looks brighter and becomes soft and smooth. Body scrubs with new innovations, of course, the main thing that attracts attention are the ingredients that can brighten the skin and the quality of product quality that is a priority that meets the standards of Good Cosmetics Manufacturing Practices (CPKB). The quality of a product is the physical condition, function and nature of a product in question that can satisfy the tastes and needs of consumers according to the value of money that has been spent. Body scrub is a form of body care that aims to remove dead skin cells, dirt, and open the pores so that air exchange is free and the skin becomes brighter and whiter. By using a body scrub, the body will have clean, healthy and well-groomed skin. Various kinds of ingredients including herbs have been developed as the main ingredients of body scrubs. The quality of the "Secret Patchouli" product aims to modify the body scrub formula based on coffee raw materials so that a stable, comfortable and healthy product is formed to be applied to the body. The results of this study indicate that in order to obtain safe product quality, the standard CPKB procedures must be met.
