 <note>Implementation  of fluid  and  food  management of  End  Stage  Renal Disease (ESRD)  patients  involve  in restricting  fluid  intake  and  consuming low  protein, sufficient  calorie and low salt food.  ESRD patient noncompliance due to a chronic disease  suffered  by  the  patient's  chronic,  leading  to  saturation of the  patients  to regulate  fluid intake and daily food. The purpose of this research  was to know the description   of the   implementation  of fluid   and   food   management of  ESRD patients  in dialysis  unit of dr. Zainoel  Abidin  Hospital  Banda  Acch  2012. The design  uses  in this  research  was  descriptive  exsplorative  by crossectional   study approach.  The  sampling   technique   used was  total  sampling   for  all  patients  in dialysis  unit. Quetionnaire in the form of checklist  and dichotomus consisting  of 9 statment   items   was   uses   as  data   collection   technique.   Data   were   analyzed descriptively  by determining  percentage   of good  and  poor.  From  the  result  of research,  its  show  that  implementations  of fluid  and  food  management  was  in poor category,  53 persons  (58,88%),  the fluid management  was in good category,&#13;
79 persons  (87,88%),  food management  was poor category,  49 persons  (52,22%). Based  on  this  research,   it  was  suggested   that  the  ESRD  patients   improve  the&#13;
implementation of  food  management   and  nurses   in  dialysis   unit  improve  the&#13;
counseling about the food management for ESRD patients.&#13;
