Telah dilakukan penelitian berjudul “Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kumon Terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa (Pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Peusangan)”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kumon terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di SMAN 2 Peusangan. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan jenis peneitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Peusangan, adapun sampelnya adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar, angket, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar soal tes dan angket motivasi belajar. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 5,59 > 1,68 pada taraf signifika α = 0,05 hal ini berarti hipotesis diterima. Motivasi peserta didik kelas eksperimen diperoleh persentase 73,20% dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 54,88% dengan kategori cukup. Maka demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kumon terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di SMAN 2 Peusangan.

The Effect of Application of the Kumon Learning Model on Students' Motivation and Learning Outcomes (On the Material of Buffer Solutions in Class XI IPA SMAN 2 Peusangan) A research has been conducted entitled “the influence of the application of the Kumon learning model on students’ motivation anda learning outcomes (on the material of buffer solution in class XI Science SMAN 2 peusangan). The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the Kumon learning model on students’ motivation and learning outcomes on the buffer solution material at SMAN 2 Peusangan. The approach used in this study is a quantitative dan qualitative approach to the type of experimental research. The population in this study ere all student of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Peusangan, and the sample used in this study was class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class anda classXI IPA 3 as control class. The technique of data collection in this study used test, questionnaire, dan documentation. The instrument used are in the form of test question sheets and learning motivation questionnaires. The results of hypothesis testing obnained are thitung > ttabel yaitu 5,59 > 1,68 at a significant level α = 0,05 this menas that the hypothesis is accepted. The motivation of the experimental class students was 73,20% in the high category, while in the control class it was 54,88% in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the Kumon learning model to motivation and student learning outcomes in the buffer solution material at SMAN 2 Peusangan.
