In 2020, many universities in Indonesia began implementing online-based learning to replace lectures in the classroom. This is done as a way to reduce the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia, the purpose of this study was to analysis students’ perspective on the use e-learning platform during the pandemic outbreak. This study examines several platforms that allow it to be used as a better learning tool through students' perspective. Applies a quantitative and qualitative approach involving 30 English class students from 2018, 2019, and 2020. Data collection was carried out by distributing 24 questions to students. The survey contains structured questions and leads to four parts platform: e-Learning usk, Zoom, Edmodo, and WhatsApp. The researcher interviewed a few students majoring in English at Syiah Kuala University. The findings of this study showed that e-learning usk got highest (mean = 95) with a percentage 3,16 % of students were impressed with elearning as the most favorable platform because more accessible to do the task and more effective to use than the other platform. However, there is no significant difference, platform the most widely used (e-learning usk and Edmodo) while video conferencing is the second choice (Zoom and WhatsApp). From the findings of this study, it can be concluded that students prefer to learn in hybrid learning, which can provide them with more interactive features for their achievement.
