ABSTRAK


Aceh merupakan provinsi yang berada dibagian paling barat dari kepulauan Indonesia dan dikelilingi oleh perairan, terletak di daerah tropis yang menerima radiasi matahari paling banyak. Kondisi wilayah Aceh yang bergunung-gunung dan berlembah-lembah mengakibatkan pola curah hujan yang berbeda-beda dan beragam. Laut merupakan peranan yang lebih penting dari pada daratan dalam proses terjadinya hujan. Dimana sebagian telah memberi kesimpulan bahwa suhu permukaan laut dengan curah hujan memiliki kaitan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai hubungan suhu permukaan laut terhadap awal masuk musim hujan dan karakteristik curah hujan di wilayah Utara-Timur Aceh. Tujuan dari kajian penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi dari pengaruh antara suhu permukaan laut dengan curah hujan di wilayah Utara-Timur Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada wilayah Utara-Timur Aceh pola curah hujan diwilayah Utara-Timur Aceh bertipe monsun dengan sedikit pengaruh dari ekuatorial. Korelasi antara curah hujan dengan anomali suhu muka laut menunjukkan nilai yang berbeda-beda disetiap wilayah. Hasil analisis korelasi awal masuk musim hujan tertinggi terjadi pada daerah Banda Aceh dengan nilai sebesar 0,1495 yang terjadi pada dasarian ke 25 dan lama musim hujan terjadi selama 12 dasarian. Sedangkan awal masuk musim hujan terendah terjadi pada daerah Aceh Timur yaitu 0,0278 yang terjadi pada dasarian 24 dan lama musim hujan terjadi selama 13 dasarian.

ABSTRAK Aceh is a province located in the westernmost part of the Indonesian archipelago and surrounded by waters, located in a tropical area that receives the most solar radiation. The condition of the Aceh region which is mountainous and has valleys results in different and varied rainfall patterns. The sea is a more important role than the land in the process of rain. Where some have concluded that sea surface temperature and rainfall have a relationship. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the relationship between sea surface temperature and the onset of the rainy season and the characteristics of rainfall in the North- East region of Aceh. The purpose of this research study is to obtain information on the effect of sea surface temperature and rainfall in the North-East region of Aceh. The method used in this research is correlation analysis. Based on the results of data analysis in the North-East region of Aceh, the rainfall pattern in the North-Eastern region of Aceh is monsoon type with little influence from the equatorial. The correlation between rainfall and sea surface temperature anomalies shows different values in each region. The results of the correlation analysis at the beginning of the rainy season, the highest occurred in the Banda Aceh area with a value of 0,1495 which occurred on the 25th basis and the length of the rainy season occurred during the 12th basis. Meanwhile, the lowest start of the rainy season occurred in the East Aceh area, namely 0,0278 which occurred on the 24th basis and the length of the rainy season occurred for 13basian.
